Hi David,
Glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you all again soon.

Fabulous cottage with lovely sea view. Spotlessly clean. Had everything we needed. Lovely owners too that were very responsive to any queries. A great base for trips out.
Super position, very clean and very quiet - we loved our week. Were put in the adjacent cottage to the one we booked which is actually superior and we had no problems other than this cottage had no wi-fi which is essential for us. However it was available in the main house. Mary and Gary make excellent hosts! We expect to return!

Unexpected
Our initial impression was positive, but we soon noticed things that needed attention. There were lots of maintenance issues with the kitchen, including the fridge and dishwasher doors not opening and closing properly. Constantly dripping tap on the sink ( because it is open plan with stairs off the dining area ) when lying in bed, all you could hear was drip drip drip. There were other issues but the one irritant being that none of the internal doors shut properly. We didnt think that the cleaning was very good. Several things we could mention but as a general idea, there is a knife block on the work surface. Although the knives were clean, the block itself was filthy. When picking it up you got brown gunge on your fingers. In addition to these things, we were surprised that the owner thought it ok to enter the property at least on two occasions, while we were out for the day. We were not asked or prepared for this. This resulted in a breakdown of trust and a violation of our privacy. Needless to say, that despite its location, we will not be returning.

Brian,
So sorry you were not happy regarding some issues with our cottage. Having checked your complaints the fridge and dishwasher doors close perfectly well.
I am aware of a very very slight drip in the tap which my Plumber has been notified and will call in when he passes next . You could have put a cloth under the drip but to be honest the big clock makes more noise.
My oak internal doors do tend to expand during different climates but they do all shut properly but having read your comments my Joiner was called who plained them slightly so they shut more smoothly.
Whilst watering my plants I noticed all kitchen spot lights were left on all day on the 2 days I watered my plants so probably everyday and in this present day cliamate yes I did switch them off. My terms and conditions linked regarding access is below.
Access
The owner or their representatives (including workmen) are allowed access to the property at any reasonable time during your stay. In an emergency, or if a problem needs sorting out quickly and you cannot be contacted in time, the owner can enter the property at any time without giving you prior notice
During your stay you never mentioned any problems to myself or husband and we are on hand to sort any issues out when asked. On your departure I asked everything ok your never said anything other then Anglesey is a beautiful Island but to hot at times.
For future guests I have let this property out for over 15 years and this is the only negative feedback.
Hope next time you visit this beautiful Island you find a more suitable property. Thank you Mary
Beautiful cottage in a perfect location with a great host. There are two cottages, one with two downstairs bedrooms and the other with an upstairs and a downstairs bedroom, both cottages with two bathrooms. Our bedroom was upstairs and we didn't find the stairs easy to negotiate but this was because we are two senior citizens who live in a bungalow with no stairs. If you are younger and fitter the stairs will not be a problem. If we return in the future, which we would very much like to we would love to stay in the other cottage with no stairs. Sitting out on the patio, looking out to sea was just perfect. Mary the host was very friendly and welcoming as was Kessie the Cockerpoo.
Highly recommend a visit

I am glad you enjoyed your stay and you would be most welcome to book again in Y Bwthyn.
Delightful property in a very tranquil spot with views to the sea. Very pleasant hosts who were most helpful. Several good eating establishments within a 3-4 mile radius of the property. Taxi service bookable if required. Accommodation was very good and well equipped. Highly recommend.
