A house a short walk from Criccieth, with not just one
view but many of castle, sea and beach. Wifi, TV and
DVD, wood burning stove.
Wow! "Wow what a location and what a house!
We are so thrilled to have this fabulous holiday house. It really has the feel-good factor. From almost every window you can see Criccieth castle - and of course the sea! If you are looking for privacy and inspirational views, this is the house for you.
This picture-postcard cottage is only a short walk from the small seaside town of Criccieth. With a footpath leading down to the beach. and so peaceful and serene - you will feel relaxed and at one with the world!
Inside, the owners have created a truly stunning home from home, carefully thought out and with no expense spared. Part original, part new, it is joined together by an amazing slate-floored room with rocking chairs looking out to sea through a glass wall and featuring a beautifully constructed staircase, Cae'r Dyni is furnished throughout with original and hand-crafted pieces. 1 x Twin Bedroom downstairs,
The cosy sitting room has the most incredible views out across the ever changing seascape. Comfy sofas are set around a wood burner. There are chairs which you can turn to face looking out of the windows, too. There’s a flat screen TV, DVD player and hi-fi.
The kitchen is open plan with a dining space to one end of the room, too. There’s a log burning Esse cooker, an electric cooker and gas hob as well as an American-style fridge with freezer, a microwave and a dishwasher. The large utility room with sink houses the washing machine and dryer.
The dining area has a table lovingly made by the Owners. There are eight leather chairs, a wood burning stove and oak floors with underfloor heating making a great space for family meals.
Ground floor twin bedroom. The ground floor also has a cloakroom with loo and wash hand basin.
On the first floor are three bedrooms, all furnished to a good standard. The master room has a solid wooden ‘stocks' bed. It also has an ensuite with a sumptuous roll-top bath, a separate corner shower and an incredible wash basin which started it’s life in Marrakesh and is now in a holiday cottage in North Wales! There are two further double bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite shower room. All bedrooms have TVs and DVD players.

Head outside and you’ll find a gravel area with seating that boasts some of the best views from a holiday house in Criccieth! Just soak up the sea views and the sea air from here with a glass of wine come sunset. There is off-road parking next to the property.

Town: Often described as the 'Pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia’, this delightful seaside town is situated just 5 miles from Porthmadog. The town’s 13th century castle perches majestically on a rocky outcrop, dominating the skyline and offering superb views of Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the two beaches, whilst walkers and bikers are spoilt for choice by the proximity of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Stroll along the beaches, watch porpoises playing in the surf, or relax in the various pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, sampling the famous Cadwalader’s ice cream. Further afield, attractions such as Portmeirion’s wonderful Italianate gardens, the Ffestiniog railway in Porthmadog, Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle and the beautiful beaches and renowned golf courses of the Llyn Peninsula are all within an easy drive.
