THE OLD LIFEBOAT HOUSE, family friendly, with open fire in Penmon
An immaculate house in near Penmon Point. Sea views from nearly every window. WiFi, wood-burning stove, flat-screen TV and DVD player. Cafe nearby. Amenities 12 minute drive with further amenities 18 minutes away.
Romantic and atmospheric - step out to the balcony, where the remains of the old lifeboat slipway can be seen in this beautiful south east corner of Anglesey, and hear the sound of seabirds, the salty smell of the sea and the mournful gong of Trwyn Du lighthouse, you might even be lucky enough to see a dolphin pod while relaxing on the balcony with a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The open plan living, dining and kitchen area is a lovely bright and contemporary space.The living area has cane sofas and chairs and a wood burning stove with a dining table and chairs to seat 8 comfortably.The kitchen has an oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and plenty of pots, pans, crockery and utensils.French windows lead to the balcony which has spectacular views and is equipped with garden furniture. The rear hallway has a door opening to the garden with a footpath down to the water’s edge. A second cosy sitting room has two sofas and large, flat screen TV and DVD player, and lovely views out over the sea. The washing machine is house in a cupboard in the front hall. There is a ground floor twin bedroom and shower room with large shower cubicle, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.Upstairs there is the master bedroom with king size bed and en-suite shower room with shower, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.There is a further twin room upstairs and a family bathroom with large bath and hand held shower attachment, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. There is a graveled drive and parking area and a large, natural, lawned garden. Just a short drive will take you into the bustling seaside town of Beaumaris, enjoy it's many interesting shops, cafés and restaurants or soak up some culture in the castle or Victorian gaol. There's so much to do on Anglesey...that's if you can drag yourselves away from the sea views at this stunning holiday cottage!

Town: Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty at the south-eastern corner of the Isle of Anglesey, Penmon looks out across the Menai Strait towards the magnificent mountains of Snowdonia. Close by is Puffin Island, where puffins do indeed nest. They, as well as seals and porpoises and many other water fowl can be viewed from a boat trip starting from Beaumaris. Heritage lovers will enjoy discovering the historic Penmon Priory, a 13th Century Augustinian House complete with its original holy well and curious dovecote. At Black Point, near the lighthouse, the Pilot House Cafe serves coffe, teas, lunches and ice creams. Nearby White Beach is a large pebble cove and the coastal path winds via a nature reserve and scenic cliff path all the way to the open sands of Red Wharf Bay. The village of Llangoed has a shop with Post Office counter. Picturesque Beaumaris has a 13th Century moated castle, a pier, small independent shops, a gallery, exhibitions and a wide choice of bars, cafes and restaurants.
