Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. Cot and highchair. Welcome pack. Courtyard with patio and garden furniture. Hot tub (private). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are steps in the garden.. This spacious, two bedroomed holiday cottage has been built to a very good standard and includes a large open plan living and dining area with a wood burner, two bathrooms and a hot tub. Adjoining the owner’s Victorian house, it is situated in the garden and overlooks the Menai Straits. The cottage makes an ideal base for exploring Anglesey, and some of its most beautiful beaches are within a 20-minute drive. Menai Bridge is ¾ mile away with shops, restaurants, pubs and a supermarket. Beaumaris, 3 miles, has a host of attractions including a 13th-century castle, golf, sailing and sea fishing. There are many superb walking opportunities on the island, and the Anglesey Coastal Path passes the cottage. The Snowdonia National Park with its numerous outdoor pursuits is a short drive away. For gardening enthusiasts there is the lovely Hidden Garden at Plas Cadnant close by, and Crug Farm and the wonderful Bodnant Gardens are a worthwhile trip. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Lovely cottage, large spacious and comfortable. Good views and easy to reach areas of interest, for example, Treador Bay, Newborough forest and the mainland. Good restaurants and takeaways to. Nice space to relax and gorgeous shower. Nice landlady too.

On the day of our arrival, we were lost as we were struggling to find the property but we called David and Una and they were extremely helpful and we managed to find the property. The cottage was beautiful and we had an amazing time. After checking out, I realised that I left my watch at the property, David and Una kindly posted it back. So happy with their service, will definitely be back!

Haulfryn Cottage was everything we could have wished for and wonderful hosts who couldn't do enough for us. Ideally located for all the lovely places to visit on Anglesey and right by Menai Bridge for popping over to the mainland for more fantastic places to visit. Hot tub was a bonus with lovely views to enjoy whilst relaxing under a star speckled sky (but cloudy evenings were lovely too!). Couldn't fault all the amenities - there was equipment for all eventualities and the power shower in the main bathroom was fab! Loved the open plan layout which was perfect for us as a family of 3 and dog so we could all be together whilst relaxing and during meal times. Would highly recommend and would love to go back.

We found that the cottage had many positives which made our holiday very enjoyable . However the parking mentioned is approx 90 yds from the cottage & the nearest unloading spot is 45 yds . We would only recommend this cottage if you travel with a small amount of luggage.
