An ideal holiday cottage, cleverly designed with the sitting room upstairs to maximise the sweeping views over farmland to the sea beyond. With an eye for detail and lovely fabrics and furnishings, this is a charming place to come home to.
"I remember so well visiting this house for the first time and the sitting room sold it to me straight away. A fun, 'home from home' house in a central location." Maes y Cregyn is located on the east coast of Anglesey in the quiet hamlet of Marianglas. You can walk to Traeth Bychan (Small Beach) where you have the choice of heading south on the coastal path to the sandy family beach at Benllech or head north for the picturesque village of Moelfre. Note: 2 small/med dogs, 1st dog free of charge with a £20 charge for the 2nd.
Amenities: Wifi, log burner, initial supply of kindling and logs, flat screen TV & DVD player, bed linen and towels provided, night storage heaters, enclosed garden, garden furniture, off road parking. 1 mile to Moelfre & 2 miles to local amenities of Benllech. Note: 2 small/med dogs, 1st dog free of charge with a £25 charge for the 2nd. Note: There is a £100 Good Housekeeping Bond on this house. Note: This property is heated by electric storage heaters. Over the Winter months guests may find it more comfortable to also use the log burner to heat the snug. A starter pack of fuel for this is provided, however guests will be required to purchase the additional logs from the local suppliers.
Town: Quaint and peaceful hamlet between Moelfre and Benllech on the east coast of Anglesey. Take a short stroll to Traeth Bychan with its popular beach and cafe. You can hire a kayak and take in the sights of the bay. Nearby Benllech and Moelfre are a short drive away. Easy accesible to the Coastal Path, you could head off to Lligwy Beach, or pop along to the see the old Roman ruins and the Neolithic Burial Chamber. Head over to Beaumaris or Menai Bridge for some lovely shops and fab places to eat.
