MELIN Y COED, family friendly, with open fire in Menai Bridge
An old mill conversion on the outskirts of Menai Bridge, Anglesey. WiFi. Flat screen TV & blu ray player. Wood Burning stove. 5 minute drive to all local amenities.
Melin y Coed holiday cottage is a luxurious mill conversion on the bank of the River Cadnant, an inlet of the Menai Straits near Menai Bridge. It enjoys lovely waterside views, and if you can bear to close the curtains in the evening you can relax in front of a warm fire, far from the busy outside world! In the garden is a wonderful balcony, where you can sit and enjoy the wildlife and the peaceful riverside location.
The kitchen/dining area is a generous size and very well appointed, with everything you would expect of a quality hand-made kitchen. There is a dishwasher, Belfast sink, granite worktops, Travertine floors, a fridge/freezer and a range cooker.
A separate sitting room provides comfortable seating for everyone. There is a large sofa and a woodburner for those wintry nights when all you want to do is relax in front of a warm fire. You may never need to use the flat screen TV, with the joys of nature's own show right outside your house!
Upstairs are three double rooms and one single room.A lot of care and attention has been devoted to the décor of these beautiful rooms. The master bedroom has an en suite with shower, basin and WC.The other bedrooms are all serviced by a large family bathroom with walk-in shower and separate bath.
The kitchen opens out onto a decked area at the side of the house and offers a super setting for outdoor dining. There is also a garden with a balcony, where you can sit and enjoy the wildlife and the peaceful riverside location.A private jetty protrudes from the bank and is great for fishing and boating.
This lavish and beautifully decorated house has been modernised to the highest standard. The high-quality furnishings have been carefully chosen, while the hand-made kitchen forms the delightful hub of the house.
"Sitting on the edge of the tidal Cadnant creek, this is such a nice house in a great location. A short walk to Menai Bridge and the wonderful Hidden Garden just next door."
