2-floor traditional Japanese townhouse, 2bedrooms, 2toilets, one bathroom, 6beds, host 9 people at Max.

1st floor:
Living area with wall mounted HDTV and 2 comfortable sofa beds which can sleep for one person each if needed.

Fully equipped kitchen including rice cooker, pots, toaster, microwave etc. for cooking at home. Cooking oil, salt and pepper are provided too.
Dining area with a decent dining table and baby chairs
Tea and coffee are provided.

1 toilets and 1 bathrooms (the finest wooden bathtub provides healing and relaxing effects after a whole day tour)
Laundry area: a wash machine has dry function.
Instructions and travel information corner.

2nd floor: 2 separated bedrooms.
Tatami room#1: two double-size mattresses
Western room#2: two semi-double beds

All necessities, including iron & hair dryer, and even umbrellas are provided.
Only bring your own toothpaste.

Nice central location and comfortable house

Communication with the host was great. We were a family of 4. House was clean, comfortable and close to Kyoto station and other stations as described. We enjoyed our stay in this renovated traditional Kyoto house!

This is a nice home in central Kyoto. Amenities are good except that TV is all in Japanese so essentially not usable for English speakers. Having two toilets is exceptional for Japan. Cedar tub is unique and very nice. Kitchen was adequate for us to make breakfasts and dinners to save $$$$ Beds were comfortable and clean, and having two separate bedrooms was great. Host was very responsive when heater needed to be turned on and when trash needed to be picked up. We stayed 10 days. It was a great home base

Lovely newly renovated traditional house near Kyoto station with great amenities.

Enjoyed staying in a Japanese style house with all the modern conveniences. Full kitchen available, well-stocked, very clean, comfortable beds. In Japan houses are right on the street so there was some street noise but the house is located off the main roads. Close to parks with play structures for kids, temples, cafe (one is across from the park two blocks away), kyoto station and supermarket, short walk to subway and bus stops. About a 10 min walk with luggage to the house. The only small issue was drying clothes took a long time as the washer /dryer is a combination machine and takes several hours to dry. If sleeping on the couches I recommend using a futon pad on top as the couch spine is hard otherwise. Air conditioner in both bedrooms and main floor so can adjust to suit. Instructions provided in English. Easy to check in. I would stay again
