5th floor apt w/elevator. Nice residential area. 15 min stroll to Eiffel Tower. A wonderful bakery next block. Nice grocery store 1block. Laundry 2 blocks. Can walk along Seine. Catch botaboat near E tower. This is a good location and well stocked apartment.

Summer in the City

Wir waren im Hochsommer (Anfang Juli) eine Woche im Appartement von HervĂ©. Wer WĂ€rme nicht vertrĂ€gt, sollte es uns nicht nachmachen. Die Wohnung ist nur in eine Himmelsrichtung ausgerichtet, Nachmittags steht die Sonne auf den Fenstern. Deshalb wurden FensterlĂ€den eingebaut, die ihren Dienst sehr gut verrichten. Leider ist aber ein DurchlĂŒften der Wohnung nur sehr schwierig, wenn kein Fenster in eine andere Richtung geht, zumal das Treppenhaus und der Fahrstuhl noch viel wĂ€rmer wurden als die Wohnung. Und die Menschen in der Bar an der Ecke sind oft nicht sehr leise. Also, Ohrenstöpsel nicht vergessen, wenn man empfindlich ist. Die Wohnung selbst ist ausreichend ausgestattet, es gibt viel Stauraum, falls man diesen benötigt. Die notwendigsten Dinge sind vorhanden, lediglich Toilettenpapier, Waschmittel und Seife mussten wir selbst mitbringen. Ein paar Dinge sind gewöhnungsbedĂŒrftig, falls man nicht bereits Reiseerfahrung hat (die FensterlĂ€den, Töpfe und Pfannen mit optionalem Griff, etc). Die KĂŒche ist mit ElektrogerĂ€ten gut ausgestattet. Die Grundreinigung der Wohnung war nicht ĂŒberragend, auch die Waschmaschine, FensterlĂ€den etc. freuen sich sicher ĂŒber ein wenig Liebe. Aber das ist nichts, was mich vom Objekt abraten ließe. Kleinere MĂ€ngel sind dem Alter des Objekts geschuldet. Zumal man wirklich nur ein paar Straßen weiter vor dem Eiffelturm steht, man sieht ihn, wenn man sich aus dem Fenster lehnt. Nicht vergessen: Das japanische Restaurant gegenĂŒber ist hervorragend, ebenso die BĂ€ckerei eine Straßenecke weiter (aus dem Haus raus, dann Rechts rum). Einkaufszentrum 4 Straßen weiter, inkl. großem Supermarkt, kleinere LĂ€den in der gesamten Umgebung. Bus und Metro sind in wenigen (maximal 8) Gehminuten entfernt super zu erreichen, wir haben nur die Fahrt nach Versailles mit dem Auto gemacht, weil die Bahnstrecke grad gewartet wurde. Sonst eine Woche nur Bus und Metro. Alles in allem waren wir zufrieden und wĂŒrden sicher noch mal wiederkommen.

Perfekte Lage, angenehme Wohnung

Vielen Dank fĂŒr den schönen Aufenthalt bei Herve. Die Wohnung liegt ideal, fusslĂ€ufig vom Eiffelturm und zur Seine. Viele Metrostationen ganz in der NĂ€he, Busstation direkt vor der TĂŒr, Supermarkt schrĂ€g gegenĂŒber. Ruhig und mit Kindern sehr zu empfehlen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und außer einem Wasserkocher ist alles vorhanden. Wir haben Paris sehr genossen.

Un point de chute commode et confortable.

Les prĂ©cĂ©dents commentateurs, peu loquaces, et les photos de l'appartement sur le site Abritel, ne lui rendent pas suffisamment justice. Tout n'est pas parfait, mais l'on peut y rĂ©sider trĂšs confortablement. Nous y avons passĂ© trois semaines et parlons donc en connaissance de cause. SituĂ© presque au bout de la rue de Lourmel, cĂŽtĂ© Grenelle, il permet de rejoindre facilement l'hypercentre (trois stations de mĂ©tro Ă  moins de dix minutes et le bus 42 tout proche). Autour de lui on trouvera tous les commerces nĂ©cessaires au quotidien (y compris un supermarchĂ© Franprix) et plusieurs restaurants; Ă  moins d'un quart d'heure Ă  pied le centre commercial Beaugrenelle et un vaste Monoprix. L'appartement se situe dans un grand immeuble calme et trĂšs bien tenu, sĂ©curisĂ© par deux grilles avec code d'entrĂ©e. Lui-mĂȘme est d'une propretĂ© irrĂ©prochable et suffisamment vaste avec ses deux chambres et son sĂ©jour pour que quatre personnes puissent y vivre Ă  l'aise. Il y a une assez grande salle de bain (ample douche et non baignoire) et les chambres sont de belle taille. Il y a beaucoup de rangements tant dans les chambres que dans le sĂ©jour. La cuisine US est trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e. A certaines heures la rue est trĂšs passante (peu la nuit), mais le double vitrage des fenĂȘtres Ă©touffe efficacement la rumeur extĂ©rieure. Point Ă©galement important pour un sĂ©jour Ă  la saison froide: il est trĂšs bien chauffĂ©, presque trop -- il a fallu tenir certains radiateurs fermĂ©s. Nous n'avons pas vu le propriĂ©taire mais il nous avait fourni les indications nĂ©cessaires pour entrer dans l'immeuble et l'appartement quelques jours avant. De façon plus gĂ©nĂ©rale il rĂ©pond trĂšs vite par e-mail ou SMS. Peut-on trouver Ă  redire Ă  ce logement? Pour la forme notons que malgrĂ© une abondante collection de couteaux et fourchettes, il manquait un couteau Ă  pain; de mĂȘme il serait bien d'avoir un balai et une pelle Ă  disposition; cela Ă©viterait d'avoir Ă  sortir l'aspirateur pour faire disparaĂźtre quelques miettes de pain. Plus sĂ©rieusement la disposition du mobilier dans l'une des chambres rend l'accĂšs Ă  l'un des cĂŽtĂ©s du lit difficile, le passage Ă©tant bloquĂ© par une penderie, Pas de problĂšme s'il n'y a qu'un seul occupant quoique l'accĂšs Ă  la fenĂȘtre reste difficile si l'on n'est pas trĂšs leste. Pour autant cela Ă©tait trop secondaire pour gĂącher notre sĂ©jour. Nous reviendrions sans hĂ©sitationn.

Heerlijk appartement op loopafstand van de Eiffeltoren

De communicatie vooraf en ter plaatse met de eigenaar was zeer prettig. De tijden van in- en uitchecken zeer flexibel passend bij onze reistijden. Zeker voor Parijse begrippen zeer ruim appartement van alle gemakken voorzien. De ligging was perfect. Supermarkt op twee miniten loopafstand. Veel restaurantjes in de buurt. Verschillende metrostations dichtbij. Kortom een zeer geslaagd verblijf!
