Great Accommodation

The accommodation is located just outside Icod de los vinos, and you can walk to the center in around 30 minutes. The property is very large, everything is beautifully furnished and very clean and the hot tub is definitely a highlight. I had a really nice stay here.

Es war für uns eine sehr schöne Unterkunft und Ort und haben es in vollen Zügen genossen.Unsere Gastgeber (Maria und Victor) waren ein sehr zuvorkommendes, freundliches und hilfsbereites Ehepaar."Danke euch beiden" ! Die Lage am Rande des Dorfes ganz oben von El Amparo ist ideal für Urlauber die es ruhig und beschaulich wollen. Das Haus und die Umgebung sind wunderschön gestaltet mit den Basaltsteinen , dem Holz und den vielen Pflanzen. Der Name Romanz passt für das Haus völlig.Die Straße zum Anwesen ist etwas abenteuerlich mit dem Auto zu befahren (sehr schmal und sehr Steil) für Menschen die das nicht gewohnt sind. Das war für uns aber kein Problem. Bei wolkenlosem Himmel hat man eine Blick auf die Spitze des Teide und in der Nähe des Holzschuppens oder oben am Zaun auf Icod und dem Meer. Rund herum sind lauter kleine landwirtschaftliche Anwesen und/oder Gärten mit kleinen Häuschen das auch ein ländliches Feeling hervorruft. Die Nähe zur TF5 stört nicht, da hört man so gut wie fast gar keine Autogeräusche.Kleine Contras:Wer Schlaf empfindlich ist sollte die Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer wenn möglich meiden.Wer ein 5 Sterne Hoteleinrichtung gewöhnt ist, sollte sich dort auf einer in die Jahre gekommen Küche einstellen.Im Bad gibt es an den gemalten Wandstellen durch die Feuchtigkeit aus dem Whirlpool Stockflecken.(Stand 2025)Uns haben die Contras nichts ausgemacht und haben den Aufenthalt genossen.Das Haus ist daher von uns sehr zu empfehlen !

Lovely secluded house with a great hot tub

The house is in a nice secluded location. The garden with all the flowers and little ponds is large and beautifully kept. The house itself is spacious and beautifully furnished, the hot tub is of course perfect. And the owner is very helpful and responsive. It is a great place to relax.

Perfect, tranquil retreat.

Our stay was perfect, the photos do not do the place justice. So quiet and peaceful. Our host was excellent and we had a wonderful time here. Eating outside with the views of El Tiede was unforgettable.
