An enviable location that has even featured in James Bond books. Being on the south side of Canterbury gives you access to different routes, therefore bypassing city centre traffic. More time to explore this World heritage site and pack more into your break.
Explore Canterbury’s rich history on foot, a 15-minutes walk into town (or a short bus journey, bus stop across from the apartment) visit St Augustine’s Abbey; St Martin’s church, Canterbury Cathedral, perhaps a stroll into Dane John Gardens or to the Buttermarket along the cobblestone streets and a memorable punt along the river Stour.
A short drive away is Howletts zoo and Wingham Wildlife Park. Looking for a quintessential pub there are plenty to explore in the countryside and more in the town; for all the James Bond fans the Duck Inn, a 20 minutes drive from Skyfall. Across the road from Skyfall you will find a local store to easily get hold of any essentials.
