About this property

Home Away From Home

We purchased this Cottage for our family enjoyment on Pine Creek and want you to enjoy it also as a Vacation Rental. Our Cottage is very comfortable for up to 6 guests and comes furnished. Where you may prepare your favorite meals in our fully equipped kitchen that includes a refrigerator, range, microwave, coffee pot, toaster oven, utensils, dishes, pots and pans to cook on and more. We also provide a laundry room equipped with a washer & dryer so you do not have to worry about running out of clothes. Off the main Bedroom & Den is door leading to a covered porch with a table & 4 chairs and gas grill. Also in the back yard we have a gas grill and a picnic table raised up. Also for your after dark enjoyment a fire pit to sit by and gaze up at the beautiful night skies above. WI-Fi and streaming live tv is available for you to use. Also there is access to Pine Creek within walking distance of the cottage a state road that leads down to the Creek with a spot to put in your Canoe or Kayak and float down Pine Creek.

The location (close to Galeton) was ideal.The backyard fire pit and grilling station was perfect for our family gathering (surprise weekend for my sister's 60th birthday. The cottage was very clean and our family enjoyed their stay.

Nice cottage

We spent 4 nights at creek bend cottage. It was clean and roomy with all the essentials plus extras like dog bowls, dog run liine. It was an easy drive to access points to the Pine Creek Rail Trail, Wellsboro and state parks.

Perfect for what we needed

Great little house with an amazing back yard. The owners were great and the house had everything that we needed. Great location in the middle of just about everything. We would stay here again...hopefully with clear skies this time.

Overall we had a great time and experience on our trip to Tiago. Creek Bend Cottage was centrally located between all the places we wanted to visit which made it super convenient. The cottage was clean, comfortable and cozy. My family and pets felt at home during our visit! We would def recommend staying here as well as staying again ourselves!

Cute cabin! My husband, Lexi our dog and I enjoyed this cozy cabin! Great backyard for grilling and bonfires! Close to all the state parks and Wellsboro. Definitely would return!’

Lori and I bought this cottage in August of 2020. I have always wanted to have a place on Pine Creek. I learned how to trout fish on Pine Creek as a kid. I also kayaked down through the canyon every spring for 20 years. I did that until I decided that I didn't like sleeping on the ground anymore. After I met Lori we started coming to this area together. She also fell in love with how peaceful it is.

Why they chose this property

I had been looking for a home in this area for sometime. This home was just what I was looking for, from the size of the house and property. This cottage is also far enough away from our residential home in New York and it feels like we are getting away. It takes us about an hour to get to the cottage. The access to Pine Creek just a walk away was a selling point along with how cozy it is.

What makes this property unique

We loved the back yard with the views of Pine Creek just down over the bank. The access state road to drive down to unload your raft, kayak & canoes within 1 tenth of a mile is great. The state game lands that are great for hunting all around made this a great spot for a vacation rental.
