Chalet Gyronde - Your alpine getaway

After a day on the ski slopes, hiking or unwinding at the thermal baths, Chalet Gyronde is the place to come home to.

Gather around the large wood burner in the lounge on a cold evening. Open all the double french doors and smell the fresh mountain air before stepping out onto the terrace. Stand and gaze out of the kitchen window as the early morning sun beams through the mountains to the valley of the Gyronde River.

Our traditional alpine chalet, on the eastern edge of Ecrins National Park, is the perfect mountain retreat all year round. It’s equipped with everything you need – just turn up, unpack your bags and enjoy what the region has to offer. We’ll make sure your stay is as stress free as possible.

Just 5 minutes‘ drive away is the picturesque town of Vallouise, offering all the essentials for a break away – places to eat and drink, independent shops, sport equipment hire, supermarket and pharmacy. About twenty minutes away is the large town of Briancon that with many more shops, restaurants and amenities.

Fantastic summer holiday in Vallouise

We spent a great holiday in beautiful La Gyronde chalet where all equipment is available. It’s fantastic to wake up to the sound of the little river and it’s only a close walk to marvellous views on mount Pelvoux and the Glacier Blanc. A few hundred meters further and the beautiful St André Chapel completes the scenery. Vallouise center is nearby and it’s a short drive to the countless hikes in Les Ecrins… Philippe was always available to help with anything at all. We can highly recommend!

Super vacances, merci Philippe!

Vacances en famille, 4 adultes et 4 enfants. On était à l’aise dans le chalet! La vue depuis la terrasse est superbe! Jardin sécurisé pour nos chiens, super! L’emplacement est très pratique, à quelques minutes des commerces et des départs de randonnée. Philippe et sa mère sont très très sympathiques, nous avons beaucoup apprécié nos interactions avec eux! Merci Philippe pour les conseils et les bons plans!

Une chalet vaste et confortable avec vue.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par l'hôte qui a toujours répondu rapidement à nos demandes. Nous étions 12 et nous étions tous confortablement installés. La vue était magnifique et nous avons apprécié particulièrement le poêle central. La station Puy St Vincent est à 10' et nous a parfaitement convenu pour nos journées de ski. Un joli domaine de ski de fond et de rando luge sont également à moins de 10'. En résumé, super séjour, nous recommandons !

Zeer mooie vakantiewoning. Ruime leefruimte voor 12 personen met prachtige haard. Alles is voorzien. 10 minuten rijden naar skigebied waar je voor de lift kan parkeren.

Chalet agréable et spacieux. Très propre et bien entretenu. Équipement au top, tout était de qualité et en nombre plus que suffisant. La literie est elle aussi au top, chose rare dans les locations.
