Luxury villa Loubes Bernac

Peaceful, detached holiday let in the heart of a secluded French village. This newly built villa with air conditioning has been specify designed for couples looking for a relaxing break in peaceful surroundings. It comes with a double bedroom, a central living area where you can relax and watch TV (UK FreeSat or French Freeview) plus spacious patio with large south facing garden and private plunge pool.
You have private and exclusive use of all indoor and outdoor facilities.
The plunge pool is only available between 1 April and 30 September.

Loubes Bernac is a quaint village with French restaurant, En Toute Simplicite ( open March -December), run by a local couple who speak excellent English, surrounded by vineyards and countryside. There is also a village shop selling local produce, open every morning (except Monday) with daily fresh bread, and pastries.
There are many cycle and walking routes. The nearest larger towns are Duras to the north, Eymet to the East and St Foye to the south.

There are local markets weekly in the surrounding villages, each held on different days with local produce.

The villa is 30 minutes drive from Bergerac Airport and Bordeaux is 1.5 hours away.

Great little house in perfect location

We stayed for a week while attending the summer retreat at Plum Village Lower Hamlet as commuters. The space is a small house on its own property in the little village of Loubès-Bernac and was ideal for us. Great spot to jump off from to explore this wonderful part of France. The hosts met us and did a brief tour and then were available to answer questions. Very private yard with a plunge pool and nice shaded back patio We couldn’t have found a better place in a better location and hope to be back next year.

Jo and Trevor moved to France in 2017, having had a holiday home in Loubes Bernac for seven years. Jo used to work in marketing whilst Trevor worked IT security.
They had the villa built in that year as they wanted to create somewhere they would have like to visit.
The villa is designed to give a relaxed, private holiday experience, an escape from working and the stresses of everyday life.

Why they chose this property

This newly built villa is fitted to the highest standard. It is an eco-house which has a heat exchange system ensuring it is cool in the summer and central heating to keep you warm in the winter.

What makes this property unique

Private pool, off-street parking for 2 cars plus new air-conditioning. Walking distance, 2 minutes, to lovely village shop serving fresh pastries and coffee, next door to an authentic French restaurant
