Recently refurbished the 7 ensuite bedroom Château stretches across 3 floors with living/dining room, kitchen, large terrasse (garden furniture, BBQ, lake and forest view,) and pool, shared with the smaller holiday homes on the property. Accommodates 14, plus extra bed/cots on demand. 10 min drive from Bourgueil (Vineyards, restaurants etc). Le Vau Rozet has recently been fully renovated, adding comfort and luxury while respecting its traditional and historic appearance. It was originally built back in the 15th century and belonged to the "De Berthe” family. The château is located in the Natural Park Loire-Anjou-Touraine between Chinon, Bourgueil, Saumur and Langeais. With its private and tranquil setting on top of the lake, it is the ideal spot to celebrate special gatherings such as weddings, receptions, or even business meetings, as well as unforgettable family holidays. The chateau comprises 7 double bedrooms, all with plenty of space and all ensuite. the bathrooms of the 3 bedrooms on the first floor come with bathtub and shower. The 2 bedrooms on the ground floor as well as the 2 on the top floor come with shower. The château offers plenty of space to hang out and relax. It has a large indoor and outdoor dining area, ideal for BBQs in the summer or large Christmas feasts in the winter. The Terrasse offers a stunning view over the garden and lake, and besides the outdoor dining area it also offers a coffee table and comfortable chairs to sit and read a book. The veranda leading to the terrasse is ideal for early morning breakfasts when it's still a bit nippy outside and you can watch the fog disappear of the lake. The kitchen comes with all mod cons as well and offers any tools you might need for a big BBQ/dinner. The heated swimming pool over the lake makes for a stunning setting and is the ideal place to relax in the summer. Note that it is shared with with other smaller holiday homes on the Domaine de Vau Rozet. There are several smaller houses on the Domaine de Vau Rozet (all listed on airbnb), each one in their own private charming setting in the middle of the nature. Guests have access to the full mansion Le Vau Rozet. It is fully furnished with several hundred square meters of living areas and bedrooms; your comfort is guaranteed by the high standard of our refurbishment. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the lake and the forest. The rooms are decorated to be in line with the historic charm of the property, with a huge range of services always at your disposal.
