Beautiful 5 bedroom, 5 1/2 bath, modern rustic home with unbelievable long views from the two huge quiet covered decks; Miles of Hiking trails, Trout streams, Cozy fireplaces, Great kitchen, Bike & ATV trails. On The Rocks is a Pet-free Smoke-free luxury mountain cabin located in the 6200 acre gated resort community, Blue Ridge Mountain Club. Guests are invited to enjoy the on-property LookOut Grill, Ascent Wellness Center, Pool, Chetola Sporting Reserve, Jasper Clubhouse, Pavilion, PickleBall, Pool Table, Horseshoes & Bocce Ball.

The 5 bedrooms include 3 King, 1 Queen plus twin, and a 2 twin bed plus 1 double bed bunk room. Each bedroom has an attached private bath. Master king bedroom is on the main living area, two bedrooms on both the upper and lower levels. Dual living areas, one on main floor and one downstairs. Fiber Wi-Fi and good cell reception.

The upper "TreeHouse" level has the two twin plus double bunkbed, the queen bed plus twin bed room, attached private bath for each, netflix in both bedrooms, cozy reading nook, puzzle/game area & a stand up 60-game arcade for Pac-Man, Centipede and Frogger tournaments. Now whatever the weather, our young guests are entertained.

In the main level kitchen, the stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and eating bar make cooking a family activity. Whether you're dishing up macaroni and cheese or pulling steaks off the attached deck gas grill, you will find ample tableware, utensils and cooking/serving pieces. Bon Appetit!

The lower level den with wet bar and fireplace is the perfect spot for game watching. This level also includes a 2nd Primary bedroom with king bed as well as another king bedroom, both with attached full bathrooms. Stepping off the huge L shaped lower deck puts you on the well maintained Nick-a-jack hiking trail, just grab your water bottle and GO.

Guests can walk to enjoy The Watson Gap Pavilion & Lawn with two wood burning fireplaces, pickle ball, pool table, horseshoes, rocking chairs, benches and a flat grassy field perfect for picnics and ball tossing. The new, state of the art Wellness Center which includes high end equipment, showers, coed sauna and reading room is a short walk or a shorter drive from On The Rocks.

Activities abound throughout the year with hiking trails on property, Westglow Spa (rated #1 Destination Spa in the world by Travel & Leisure Magazine) twenty minutes away, shopping and dining in the quaint towns of Blowing Rock and Boone.

Appalachian, Sugar and Beech Mountain are all within 50 minutes, Tweetsie Railroad, Ropes Course & Theme Park just 12 miles away.

Appalachian State University in Boone is the perfect venue for D-3 sports and entertainment offerings throughout the year.

And don't worry about the driving conditions, of course the roads are beautiful, curvy and hilly but all roads to your front door are in excellent shape, paved, well marked and groomed year round.

For your safety, cameras record parking area/trash cages, lower deck exit steps and front entry.. Camera 1 of 3 is located on the front porch to record entry and vehicles coming down Stonecrop towards the trash cage along the left side. This allows us to monitor that snow plowing (when applicable) and repair/maintenance staffs. Camera 2 of 3 is in the recessed storage area on the lower back deck across from and above the 5 lower deck exit steps. It records the walking traffic from the Nick-a-Jack Trail up to the top step. It helps monitor should non-guests who walk by trespass onto the deck system, possibly entering the home if previous guests failed to lock the four sliding doors. Camera 3 of 3 records activity at the trash cans to document weekly pickup.
