Four girlfriends of over 20 years planned a weekend getaway, and we LOVED our stay at “Mountain Therapy.” We especially took advantage of the hot tub and nearby trails. The home has everything you need and more! It’s a beautiful community with gorgeous views. We would definitely come back!

Beautiful home, perfect for a fall getaway weekend for friends! The furnishings were lovely, love the location in the gated community, and very close to both Blowing Rock and Boone. The owner was delightful to work with, and even left a welcome bag of goodies upon our arrival. Would definitely visit again.

A+ Mountain Therapy
We had an amazing stay at Mountain Therapy. The home was comfortable, beautifully decorated and perfectly appointed. When we cooked at home, we had all the necessary pots, pans, bowls and utensils. Our family of 8, with adults ranging from age 25 to 88 enjoyed all the property and the community had to offer. We played pickle ball, went to yoga classes, hiked many hikes at BRMC and enjoyed dinner at the clubhouse. Totally recommend this home and would love to return again one day.

Gaya and Elliot in Charlotte NC, only 2 hours from 'Mountain Therapy'. Elliot is in finance, and Gaya works in public health. We purchased the home in the summer of 2020.

Why they chose this property

What makes this House unique
We recently purchased the home and are excited to share it with you. We love sitting on the back deck, high up in the treetops, listening to the breeze blowing, the birds chirping, or the frogs croaking, it’s like being out in the woods. But with a little bit of convenience. You can always flip on the fireplace and relax, enjoying the mountain views, or slip into in the hot tub under the stars. Inside, curl up in your favorite spot with a good book or just take a nap.

Of course, you still have access to wifi for staying plugged in when you want, and entertainment on big screen, ultra-high def tvs, so you don’t miss the big game or your favorite show. Having underground fiber internet is huge with current remote schooling and working needs.

Outside, there are trails close by, with more views, fresh air, and the sounds of mountain streams not far away. The kids love the blue hole, and I love eating al fresco at the Lookout Grill

What makes this property unique

From the moment you drive through our front gate, you are greeted by some of the most stunning views in Western North Carolina. Mile after mile of ancient, rolling mountains in every direction. And the possibilities for adventure, recreation, and relaxation are as wide open as the vistas, and as plentiful as the towering hardwoods. This is a place for families to explore all the wonders the High Country bestows—in a community equally impressive.
