Right on Appalachian Mountain, beautiful modern log cabin with mountain views and lots of safe outdoor spaces to enjoy. Over 4100 square feet on three levels including 5 Bedrooms PLUS bonus room and 3.5 baths. Modern open kitchen includes gas range with warming drawer, stainless steel refrigerator, contemporary cabinets and island with abundant space for seating. Breakfast nook with huge farm table with seating up to 12. Kitchen overlooks BIG Great Room with soaring vaulted ceiling offering views to the outdoors. Lower level has bonus room with foosball table, TV and lots of space for the kids to relax. Home includes three TVs, Cable, high speed internet, high speed HD wifi and Nintendo Wii System. No problems with cell phone reception!

Two large rooms upstairs, one with King bed and the other a Queen bed, share large bathroom with separate vanities. On main floor, the Master Suite includes a King Bed, private bathroom, Vaulted Ceiling and private access to deck. 2 Additional rooms (one with King Bed and the other 2 sets of bunk beds) downstairs with full private bath. Three additional roll out beds and two sofas perfect for the younger guests. A pack and play folding crib is included.

Great outdoor spaces including extra large covered deck, large hot tub with LED lights, 2 BBQ's, smoker, paver patio, and backyard with plenty of space for fun and games. Take a hike on one of the many trails along the Blue Ridge Parkway or at Moses Cone Park. Enjoy fishing at Trout Lake (stocked) less than five minutes away or try your hand at fly fishing at one of the many nearby creeks. Bring your swimsuit and experience Hebron Falls just a 15 minute drive.

Only five minute drive to historic Blowing Rock. Five minutes to Boone where you can find all your modern day conveniences including Wal-Mart, Harris Teeter Grocery, Walgreens, Chick-Fila, McDonalds and several choices of great pizza places! Between both and just on Hwy 321 you can find Tweeties Railroad amusement park, Doc’s Gem Mining and Mystery Hill which provide hours of fun for kids!

Great Stay / Perfect Location

Very nice and well maintained home with incredible mountain views and perfectly situated between Blowing Rock and Boone, just a few minutes from each, and right near the Blue Ridge Parkway. Recommend and would stay again.

Beautiful Boone Escape

Beautiful mountain getaway minutes from Boone! Massive wrap around porch with a fantastic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Will be staying here again in the summer.

Beautiful house and fun weekend away!

Lovely house with all the amenities you need. Great location as well- close to both Boone and blowing rock. We had a very snow filled weekend and enjoyed the beautiful views from the house, the hot tub, fire pit, and sledding nearby! Hope to return in the spring/summer!

Best Cabin Ever!

We were quite a big group with kids and we enjoyed our stay so much! Everything was great equipped and the cabin itself is awesome. It is cozy but still very airy and open spaced. And very original with the original wood block design! We loved it and are looking forward to visiting again.

Berry Blessed Indeed

We rented Berry Blessed Cabin for a week for a family vacation of 6 adults and 3 small children. The house was perfect and gave us all the space and togetherness we needed. Perfectly located between Boone and Blowing Rock, there is access to all the area has to offer. We all left looking forward to returning.

Great House and Beautiful View

This is a great house for adults and kids! The views are unbelievable, and we really enjoyed the deck, hot tub and fire pit. Both living spaces are very comfortable and we made great use out of the well-equipped kitchen and were thrilled to have the convenience of the rollaway beds. We will definitely rent again if we make another trip to Blowing Rock.

Snow tubing weekend trip

The house was very clean and had plenty of space for everyone. We had no problems during our entire stay. The driveway was definitely steep but that was noted in the description. The location was great - close to both Boone and Blowing Rock.

Beautiful Property

This is our third year staying in Blowing Rock with friends and hands down this was the best place we have rented. The property is exactly as described and has numerous amenities to be enjoyed by all ages. Also, the care of detail in the decor, the kitchen is stocked with a ton of pots,pans,dishes, etc... and even had spices available is wonderful when you are traveling with a large group. Also, the view on the back porch overlooking the mountains was a favorite!

Fabulous stay at Berry Blessed cabin

We absolutely loved this house. It is so inviting, comfortable, clean, with every amenity you would need. The space and layout were perfect for two large families for the weekend and promoted great family time. The hot tub is amazing, as well as the adirondack chairs on the balcony, which face a sweeping view of the mountains. The owners were incredibly gracious and communicative with us in the planning of and stay in their property. I would recommend this rental to anyone and we will definitely be returning.

Wonderful house and location

This is the second time we have stayed at Berry Blessed Cabin, and it continues to stand out above any rental in the Blowing Rock area. The location is perfect, allowing us to go into Boone quickly, or shopping in Blowing Rock. The house is super clean, comfortable, welcoming, and stocked with anything you would need. Also, the beds are so comfortable! The hot tub is fantastic and situated just right to watch the sunset over the mountains. I highly recommend this house and the owner is great to work with.

Dad's 80th Birthday

Our family stayed at Berry Blessed to celebrate Dad's 80th birthday. The house is perfect for all age group. Everyone enjoyed gem mining, hiking to the water falls, playing pool, sitting in the jacuzzi, and playing air hockey. The house is well equipped and had something for feveryone. We highly recommend!

Thanksgiving Trip to Blowing Rock - Loved Berry Blessed!

Our family gathered together to celebrate Thanksgiving and my Dad's 70th birthday at Berry Blessed cabin and I must say we all felt VERY blessed to not only be together, but to spend it in such a beautiful home. There were 8 adults and 6 children ages 1 - 12 and it worked out beautifully! Favorite parts: hot tub, jumping the leaves in the back, family portraits against the gorgeous moutain scenery, large eating area with seating for all of us, master bedroom/bath very spacious, all amentites were superb. Many fun memories shared - we will be back!

Fantastic Property

Our family was joined by our friends family for a total of 10 guests. 4 adults and 6 teens. The house was as described and very comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals. Views to die for!!!!!!

We had such a wonderful time. The cabin is large and roomy enough that the kids can have their own space and the adults can sit around the kitchen table and socialise. The views off the large deck are outstanding, you can see for miles. If you like to kayak this is the place, they have at least 7 brand new kayaks and a trailer to pull them to your destination. The New river is just a short drive away. We will most definitely be back next year.

Couldn't have asked for anything better!

This house has everything! We had a family reunion there this last week with ages ranging from 1 to 53 and there was plenty of space and plenty to do. The location was amazing with everything so close by but yet when up at the cabin felt like you were all alone. The place was fully stocked with everything possible! We loved that it had plenty of activities and games for our rainy day in. I had a few questions for the owner and they always responded immediately and were so very kind. If in the area again we would love to stay there again!!! I highly recommend this place!!

Beautiful 5 bedroom home

8 friends from Raleigh stayed here last weekend and had a blast. In fact, made a reservation to go back next year. The house had everything you need and some. Fully equipped kitchen, TVs, games, pool table and hot tub to name just a few. The deck has a view that you can’t forget. There is great shopping in Boone and Blowing Rock, both only about 10 min. away. There are kayaks and canoes available and hiking trails galore. Also, a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway is right there. I can’t say enough good things about this home. You won’t be disappointed.

We are a family of four, our kids are 16 and 18 years old. This is our vacation home and we really love it. We spent the 12 years traveling to the beautiful North Carolina Mountains before we decided to purchase our own. We enjoy snowboarding and skiing at Appalachian Ski Mountain, snow tubing, trout fishing and more during the winter months. During the warmer months, we enjoy kayaking, hiking, picnics, horseback riding and whitewater rafting. Long story short, we love the outdoors.

Why they chose this property

As John Muir said, 'The mountains are calling and we must go!' We live in South Florida and enjoy the beaches and the outdoors, but we miss the mountains and the incredible countryside vistas. We enjoy Blowing Rock and Boone for many reasons. Berry Blessed Cabin is the perfect place for families and friends to come together and spend some quality time. We first started vacationing in the area by renting homes and truly enjoyed ourselves every time. Blowing Rock is located only 2 hours from Charlotte which makes it a really easy drive. We love all the choices for outdoor activities. Our kids' favorites are kayaking the calmer parts of the New River (little and safe rapids) and climbing the rocks at Hebron Falls. We also have become quite good snow boarders spending many winter weekends at App Ski Mnt. We are going to take up fly fishing next.

What makes this property unique

The feeling of being in the woods without a lot of homes around us yet very close to all the comforts of Boone and the downtown historic environment of Blowing Rock. What we like about our cabin is that we can send the kids (and their friends) down to the playroom where they can be noisy and we can relax on the main area and kitchen. We rented a lot of cabins and homes first and the noise with kids and crowded feeling with many family guests was always a problem. Our cabin is perfect for a lot of people and the location is as good as it gets. We hosted a Thanksgiving family reunion a few years ago. We had 10 adults and 10 kids and it was a total success.
