Enjoyed our cabin. Only complaint was downstairs mattresses were uncomfortable. Would have liked the setting to be a little more woodsy and secluded. The contacts and communications were super and we really appreciated the cleanliness and amenities of the cabin.
This was a great property with plenty of room for my entire family. The only real issue was there was only outdoor access to the down stairs bedrooms, no inside access.
The Deer Lodge cabin made for a perfect weekend getaway with extended family. The booking and check-in process was very easy and convenient. The cabin was very clean and well appointed. There was plenty of room for all of us and the beds were comfortable. The location is convenient to Pigeon Forge and other local shops, dining, and attractions; yet far enough from all of the tourists that you can get away. I highly recommend.

Thank you for your kind and encouraging review!! We strive to give families an amazing getaway and we're so glad it was just that for your family! Please come again!!
Check in process was very difficult, had to pick up the code from another spot and nobody was there to help out, nor did anyone answer the phone. Cabin was represented as a single cabin, but was actually 2 separate ones not connected to each other except from the outside. Cabin was very dimly lit, furnishings were old and worn. No shampoo was provided either. Would not recommend.

I apologize that you had a difficult time. If I may, can I respond to some of your concerns? Also I think I sent my response prematurely. I hit tab, and the computer hit submit. So I apologize also for the first response if you received it. It was someone else giving me their thoughts on how to respond. It wasn't meant to be sent, but if it was, I'm sorry.

I have copied the following information from the welcome letter we
sent out to you on 9/29/23. If you for some reason did not receive it,
then that would explain a lot of the issues you had, and again, I
apologize.

Our after hours phone message says we are closed for the weekend, but
to leave a message, which I see you called, but no message was left. It
did then go on and gave the guest service's phone number, which our on
call person should have answered.
Cabin was represented as a single cabin, but was actually 2 separate ones not connected to each other except from the outside.

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Location
OK stay for price
Not as updated as pictures make it appear. Also, a hour away from Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg so not close enough to come up in a search for those towns in my opinion. Clean mostly but could be cleaner (hair/dust/dead bugs in corners) and sheets have stains.

Thank you for being our guests!! We are sorry that the cabin did not quite meet your expectations, as we hope to give each of our guests an amazing getaway in the mountains! We appreciate your feedback as we strive to improve the guest experience.
A huge benefit to our location is that it is within driving distance of the attractions in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, but it is also removed enough, that it is peaceful and quiet. Many of our guests love the serenity of Townsend.
Again, thank you for staying with us!!
