We had a great stay. The driveway is steep and not a lot of room to turn around especially with 3 vehicles but we made it work. The cabin is just close enough to everything and just the right size for our group of 9 to spread out.
This house was amazing. It is not easy to find a place that can accommodate our large family, but this house was perfect. Everything was in great shape and the hosts had very good communication with us. Overall very happy with this location.
We enjoyed our stay and the cabin had everything we needed. I appreciated the location because it is really close to Townsend as well as about a 15 minute drive to pigeon forge. We would rather be on the quiet side of the Smokys so the location fit us perfectly.
Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin located in a quiet and private location close to Cades Cove and Metcalfe Bottoms Picnic Grounds. The cabin was clean and neatly decorated. The kitchen had just what we needed to prepare meals with a large table to eat, visit and play games. Highly recommend!
It was amazing! We weren’t too far from town but far enough to have our own privacy. We saw a few bears around the dumpster trying to get something good to eat. Pretty smart I must say. We really enjoyed our stay.
We greatly enjoyed our stay. The driveway is up a steep hill but it’s very doable. I couldn’t have asked for a cleaner place. Any issues that arose were quickly addressed by Jerry. Having a pool table, air hockey, and foosball really helped my kiddo have things to do. Ample outdoor seating and the place is completely shaded. If you’re on the fence, do it!
Negatives: Upon entering the cabin we found a dirty sippie cup in the pool table and a dirty rag in one of the bedrooms downstairs. There was hair in the showers, the sinks didn’t drain well, and there was a mouse. Parking accommodated four vehicles but not very well. Positives: Cabin was nice, fit a large group, and was very secluded. There was plenty of seating both inside the cabin and on the porch. Plenty of shopping nearby but far enough for privacy.
Beautiful cabin in a great location, just a few miles from Townsend & Wears Valley. 3 levels with plenty of beds & bathrooms. Enjoyed the hot tub, grill, fire pit, air hockey & foosball.
Location great for Townsend, Cade's Cove, Dollywood and Pigeon Forge plus walks in Smoky Mountain national park. Be aware pool is great but a short drive away. We had a great time overall, kitchen well stocked and easy to cook and eat as a family in (we have small kids) although things started off very badly when we arrived at midnight after a long drive to find that no cleaning had been done, and the beds 'made' with used sheets - however when we contacted the owner at 8am next morning they apologized profusely, offered us a discount on cleaning fee and immediately rectified the problem - two lovely ladies arrived by 10am who changed sheets and cleaned bathrooms. Upshot. Do stay here, but don't be afraid to contact owners if any issues. Also - Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro is AMAZING and for whole family Peaceful Side Social and Creamery were delicious too, and had kids play area.
Me and my family stayed at Bear Falls cabin from Friday night thru Tuesday morning; there were eight of us. We loved the cabin, loved the area, loved being able to eat most of our meals together at the table. All of us were able to be together and still had room if we needed some space apart. When we got there two of the downstairs bedrooms didn't have any lights; I called the host and he was there within 20 mins to fix the problem (a tripped breaker). The cabin was very clean and spacious, the kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and cookware. We plan to come back in the future. Thank you Bear Falls cabin for hugging us for the weekend space apart
We loved our stay at the cabin in Townsend. The location is great for a low key visit to the Smokies. The host was kind and responsive and the house was clean and fit our group of 10 easily.
Our recent stay at the cabin was absolutely phenomenal. Tucked away in nature, the cozy cabin provided the perfect blend of rustic charm & comfort. The peaceful surroundings were truly rejuvenating, offering a relaxing escape from everyday life. The cabin's inviting ambiance, combined with the beauty of the natural setting, made for a tranquil and enjoyable retreat. From morning coffee on the porch to lengthly conversations and the couch with family, every moment was filled with a sense of calm and contentment. The hosts' hospitality and attention to detail further enhanced our experience, ensuring that our stay was memorable and stress-free. Overall, the cabin getaway exceeded our expectations, providing a perfect balance of relaxation and nature that made it a truly phenomenal stay.
