Cabin away from home

Love the cabin! Is always neat, clean, envy of all our friends. Host is the best, available with any questions or concerns you may have. One of our favs is the bubbling creek right out the front door❤️. Thanks again Ron and Beth!

Perfect Pitkin Cabin !

We rented this adorable cabin for us and another couple. The cabin was in town but feels private. Quartz Creek runs right through the front yard ! It is furnished so nicely and a great layout. There was plenty of room to park our trucks and trailers. It was the perfect location for accessing all the beautiful trails to ride our RZR on. The owners have provided anything you would need for a stay, and very responsive with any questions or issues. We brought groceries in Salida and were set for the week. The beds were comfortable and the cabin kept very clean. We have rented many properties and this was one of our favorites ! We hope to be back someday.

Amazing cabin!

It was our first time going to Pitkin and we absolutely loved it! We rode atvs most of the time and this place had plenty of space for trailers and parking. The cabin was very nice. Kept clean and also very peaceful with the Quartz Creek right by the cabin. Beth is also very nice and helpful!! We look forward to going back to Pitkin and staying here again!

Pitkin Perfection!

Absolutely perfect vacation cabin! We loved our stay in the Pitkin cabin by the creek. Our main activity is riding ATV’s. We had access to trails and explored areas we’ve never been to before. Beth is communicative, prompt, and professional. Everything we needed was provided. Thank you so much for opening this unique property for others to enjoy.

Beautiful Home in Pitkin

This was our second stay here, we look forward to our annual family trip to Pitkin! This cabin is beautiful and the perfect place to unconnect (poor cell service and no WiFi) while enjoying family! We couldn’t find the sheets for the sofa sleeper but we over pack and happened to have a sheet that worked! This is a great place to stay while in Pitkin and we have already been discussing next year’s trip!

August vacation

The owners have done everything right with this house. Everything you could possibly need to feel at home was here. The kitchen was a delight to cook in. It was really nice being supplied with laundry soap and plenty of sanitizer, dishwasher soap, and etc. There was even a dispenser of body soap, and conditioner in the shower. There was suppose to be shampoo but was empty. The location has to be the best in Pitkin being right next to Quartz Creek. The large decks made it possible to enjoy relaxing and taking in the beautiful views after a full day of riding and exploring trails. Having a grill right outside the kitchen was definitely a plus also. We would without doubt recommend staying here for the most relaxing vacation possible.

Great Cabin!

This place is perfect. The cabin is well furnished, super clean, and set up nicely. I simply cannot think of anything negative to say. Owners are super responsive and helpful with any questions. They truly want you to have a great stay and it shows. Easy access to national forests for whatever you may want to do. Don’t hesitate. Stay here, both the cabin and Pitkin will not let you down.

Awesome Cabin

We loved our stay! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed! The listing does say it has internet but we couldn’t find the router or get it to work but it didn’t bother us at all, who needs it with such pretty views! The driveway was long and easy to back our huge enclosed trailer in and still have plenty of room for our machines and vehicle. Great place to stay, we’ve already been talking about booking for our trip next year!

Won't want to leave!

Can't say enough about this beautiful little town and property. We pulled our ATV trailer into the driveway and parked it there until we left four days later. We've stayed in a number of properties while traveling, but this cabin was the best as far as having anything you could possibly need during the stay. The town has limited dining and grocery shopping options, but grilling out on the deck with the sound of the creek rushing by, and cooking in the beautiful kitchen didn't seem like a chore at all! The only bad part of the stay was leaving. Ron and Beth were excellent hosts and responded to my many messages within a few hours. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property with our family. Hope to be back!

Nice cabin lodging in a quaint town!

Family get together in the mountains fishing etc, some of us didn’t want to camp in the woods, so we opted for this cabin. It was nicely updated, comfortable, and had pretty much everything you might need.

Amazing would be a Understatement!

First time to Colorado, we came to ride our side by sides in the mountains. This house is the most accommodating to everything and everyone! Not only do you have your own space for trailers and such; but when they say you have a creek in your front yard... they mean that 100%. We absolutely loved every minute of our trip to the sweet small town Piktin. The house was way more accommodating then any place we have ever stayed! We didn’t want to leave, and we will return! ♥️

About the host

Hosted by Beth Chapman

Host profile image
We came to Pitkin and fell in love with the area and want to share it with others! We own other rental properties in Missouri including cute little VRBO in Rocheport, MO very close to the Missouri River.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this property because we wanted a cabin on Quartz Creek. This property fit our wants almost perfectly. Except it was built in 1978 and was needing to be updated. We also enjoy bringing new life to tired properties. You will love this cabin!!

What makes this property unique

This cabin is in the center of Pitkin. So, all the trails are close. We have plenty of room to park your trailer here. We have no real close neighbors.
