Soft white sands, shimmering emerald waves, and all the excitement of Destin are at your fingertips at this luxurious home. This spacious 5BR, 4-bath retreat sleeps 12. Enjoy a chef's kitchen, a 6-seater street-legal brand new golf cart, a beautiful private back yard with a splash pool. Just minutes from the beach.
Blue Mermaid is located within walking distance to the white sand beaches of the Emerald Coast. Access to a new 6-seater street-legal golf cart featuring Apple Car Play is complimentary and available for your convenience. This home welcomes families, small groups, or couples. This home has a light airy filled open floor plan with plenty of natural sunlight. It is exquisitely decorated in splashes of aqua and soft blue colors.

There are 5 luxury bedrooms with 4 baths. Sleeping up to 12 guests.
2 King bedrooms on third floor.
1 King bedroom on second floor.
1 King bedroom on first floor and a bunk room with 4 twins size beds.

Enjoy the beautiful fully equipped dine-in kitchen where you will find everything (including a waffle maker) to cook your meals. The dine-in kitchen has seating for 10 people. The kitchen over looks the main living room where there is plenty of seating for everyone to gather and enjoy their cocktails.

AGE REQUIREMENT
Please note our age requirement policy: One (1) parent or guardian over the age of 25 be present and staying in the property for every three (3) guests between the ages of 15 and 25.

If you don't want to be stuck inside, then head over to the beautifully landscaped outdoor living space where you will find a grill and plenty of comfy seating including a dining table so you can eat poolside. Take a splash after dinner in the 15 X 9 splash pool!

Beach Access- the closest beach access is at Pompano Joes restaurant which is a 3 minute golf cart ride and a 7 min walk.

Smoking is not permitted. If there is any tobacco smell in the property after your departure, you will be charged a cleaning fee of $500.
No firearms or fireworks are permitted on the premises.

Pets are strictly prohibited on the rental property. Any violation of this policy will result in additional cleaning fees and may lead to eviction from the property and the forfeiture of rent, with no exceptions.

Beautifully Decorated Beach Home

This home was a great fit for our extended family. The decor is so fun and casual. Great attention to detail! We loved all the fun beachy accessories. Close to the beach and the pool was especially enjoyed by our 4 year old grandson. The owner was awesome to work with and very accommodating when we needed to change our scheduled time. We all had a wonderful time!

Perfect! Matched the expectation

Everything was perfect. Little things make the difference. Washing machine upstairs as well as down. High end grill to cook out. Everything you need in the kitchen including an awesome waffle maker that made the kids happy. Beds very comfortable with high end sheets. The owners checked in to make sure that everything was perfect all the way through. We will definitely be back!

A great all around trip

The house is handy to the beach. The golf cart was used every day and made the beach even more accessible. The house was modern and in good shape. The owner Donna was available and very helpful. Can't think of anything negative and would rent the place again if we go back to the area.

Amazing property!

The Blue Mermaid was everything we expected and more! Donna has clearly spared no expense when it comes to the detail of the decor. Every inch of this place is decked out. The back yard is well equipped with furniture and a large grill, and the pool is the perfect size for a dip after a long day at the beach. Location is fantastic, just a few minutes drive to the beach on the golf cart, which has room for six people. Unfortunately, we are spoiled now because we will never be able to go on vacation without having our own golf cart! We are already discussing plans for returning next year. HIGHLY recommend!

Lovely new home with all comforts & conveniences

The Blue Mermaid and the the Destin area exceeded our expectations. Clean, beautifully decorated home, with high end multi-media TV's in each room, high-speed internet and premium cable channels are standard. The kitchen had all amenities including a Keurig coffee maker and an open architecture with a large kitchen table great for group dinning, games and TV viewing. The private back yard has a heated pool with swim toys, lounge area, and a BBQ with a patio table if you want to take a break from the beach. The golf cart and bicycles were a nice touch to better enjoy the variety of activities available in this area. The beaches are world class with soft white sand and clean well-maintained public areas. Restaurants are plentiful - most feature daily fresh local fish dishes - our favorite was The Vin'tij Wine Boutique & Bistro less than a mile from this home on the Emerald Coast Parkway (I-98), featuring daily catch-of-the-day specials and desserts that were simply delightful. Destin is an impressive city with new infrastructure including walking street malls, a vast Premium Outlet center, full range of grocery and department stores and restaurants. Donna and Martin provided excellent service before and during our stay, with useful tips on how to get the most out of our worry-free vacation. We highly recommend this house and the Destin area to everyone, and will certainly be back next year.

Great stay at the Blue Mermaid

Perfect house for our family of 13. We all had our own space yet we enjoyed the areas such as the beautiful kitchen with long table, and the backyard pool and patio area was great! We even had a few BBQ's at the backyard patio after days at the beach. Perfect location to the beach. The golf cart was so much fun and came in handy with chairs and beach toys. Two washer and dryers really came in handy! The home doesn't lack anything and is very luxurious . The owner Donna was super to work with very responsive! You won't regret booking this home . Our family totally enjoyed our stay!

Stunning home!! Gorgeous, clean and great for our group of 12

We loved this home! Plenty of space to spread out. The decor was so pleasant. We had everything we needed for a fun beach vacation. Donna, the owner, communicated well and very pleasant to work with. Would definitely come back!

The house was beautiful and the perfect size for our family. It was clean and well equipped. The golf cart was very convenient for getting everyone and everything to the beach each day. The owner was wonderful to work with and quick to respond to any questions. We enjoyed our week at the Blue Mermaid and look forward to returning there!

Dreamy home on a beach haven

Simply the most beautiful house I've ever stayed in! I had already stayed at another house Donna owns, Polka Dot Bikini (love their creative names), but since it wasn't available for the time we wanted, Donna told me about Blue Mermaid and I booked it right away because I knew it would have the quality she offers and it'd be a beautiful home for my vacation. All the rooms are elegantly decorated with custom furniture, unique pieces and modern appliances and all that so close to the beach! I loved that Blue Mermaid had such a perfect location being right by the beach and one of the best places in Destin, Pompano Joe's! You can walk there, get some drinks and enjoy the gorgeous view. I also loved that they have a golf cart, so if you wanna spend the day on the beach with your group and bring chairs, towels, toys for the kids or whatever it makes it so much easier! Even for just driving around, it's the best! You get to enjoy the amazing views and the incomparable weather! It was great coming back to the house and having a little party in the back patio with the private pool and we grilled some burgers to make it even better. The bedrooms are straight out of a magazine, with all king size beds and a relaxed luxury vacation vibe. The kitchen is huge and very well equipped for cooking for our big group and the living room is all comfort! The one night we didn't feel like going out we enjoyed some Netflix and pizza, but all the other nights we spent trying out all the delicious restaurants close by. Take the golf cart and go have the best and freshest sushi in Destin at Camille's then come back to this dreamy home for a vacation you won't want to end. Definitely coming back!

Can't beat Blue Mermaid

We spent a week at the Blue Mermaid and enjoyed everything it had to offer. Taking the golf cart to the beach was lots of fun, but it is walkable also. After the beach we came back and spent time at the pool, very nice back patio. The house itself was great. We loved the kitchen with the huge kitchen table to eat and later play cards. The bedroom were all nice and the entire house was beautifully decorated. We would definitely stay here again!

The stylish & luxurous Blue Mermaid

The owner of this home has an eye for style. The home was luxurously decorated and brand new. Everything in the home was top quality from the bedrooms to the kitchen area. The house was close to the beach and the golf cart made it a zip away not only from the beach but to all the attractions off of Scenic 98. The pool area made for some amazing memories. Everything was top notch from the pool area's outside shower to the grand shower in the master bedroom. The owner was very accommodating and quickly replied to all our questions. The Blue Mermaid was a gorgeous home and we will be back next year!

Awesome time at Blue Mermaid

This home is in the perfect location to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Our whole family enjoyed the convenience that this beautifully decorated home had to offer. It is located less than a five minutes walk to the beach and few minutes drive from either Destin Commons or Silver Sands shopping centers. The house was awesome. It had everything: new grill, private backyard lounge area with an outdoor shower and private pool. Inside the house, there was custom furniture consisting of gorgeously restored wood that made you feel like you never left the beach! You can tell that the owner went all out on this unique furniture because you won’t find it any stores. Each bedroom had new flat screen TVs and wifi access. The home offered 5 bedrooms, 2 of which had their own private balcony. There’s beautiful hardwood floors throughout the home. The kitchen was well equipped and it nice granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and had ample space for our entire family. The living room features a large sofa with plenty of seating to watch the NHL & NBA playoffs on the mounted flat screen TV. In the back there was another balcony that overlooked the awesome back yard which ended up being the center of our stay. And when we wanted to get away the large golf cart allowed us to get to the beach and local restaurants very quickly. Also our house was only one of two in the community with an elongated driveway that offered ample parking for more than 4 cars. This house is truly top notch and we can’t wait to come back.
