About this property
Juniper Hill, Loch Achilty
Extensively refurbished cottage with adjoining games room (Pool table) and Jacuzzi.
Accommodation consists of:
Ground floor - Hallway, Living Room with Freeview TV, ample seating, books. Dining Room/Kitchen fully equipped for a comfortable stay with dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, electric cooker with 4 radiant rings and oven. Conservatory, Utility Room, Bathroom, Bedroom (1) with 1 King size bed. Bedroom (2) with double bed and free SAT TV.
Second floor - Bedroom (3) en suite with optional twin or superking bed plus 1 single bed. Bedroom (4) twin room sharing bathroom with bedroom (5) which has a kingsize bed plus 1 single.
The cottage has a generous enclosed garden with private access to 250 acres of natural woodland and wonderful flora and fauna with Red Kites and Buzzards soaring overhead. A short walk takes you to Loch Achilty (free fishing) or if you climb the hill the Tor (a Marilyn) has stunning views up Strathconon and over Ben Wyvis.
We are also within a short distance of the scenic Rogie Falls with its famous Salmon Leap and are on the world class 'North Coast 500' and yet within easy distance of monster-spotting on Loch Ness.
Juniper Hill has easy access to both Dingwall (Macbeth's birthplace) and Inverness (for Cinema and Theatre). The Cromarty Firth is impressive with frequent sightings of Seals and Dolphins. Nearby Beauly is an interesting place to visit with it's ancient Priory, Lovat family, history links to 'Outlander' (TV series) but also home to the 'Commando Initiative'. Beauly hosts the 'Highland Cross Biathlon' from Eilean Donan castle, the 'Black Isle show' and 'Belladrum music festival'.
Max of two well behaved dogs are welcome, but not on furniture and there is a stair gate so that no dogs are allowed upstairs. There is a charge for dogs. £20 charge per dog. They must also be kept on a lead outside the garden area as this is a working farm.
The property is wheelchair accessible via the conservatory.
Bed linen and towels are included. Ample off road parking. Lawn and patio with furniture.
Sorry - no smoking indoors.
