Old Houses of Sicily there prpone a stay in the historic center of Palermo in a historical building located in the seventeenth century Palazzo Santocanale, beautifully restored in 2005 in accordance with the structures of the frescoes and period furniture.
In our residence a few guests will enjoy the refined atmosphere of noble residences with frescoed ceilings and furnished with antique furniture and at the same time the most modern amenities, such as air conditioned rooms and soundproofed marble bathroom, kitchen in ancient pottery, fine linens, LCD TV and safe.
The residence, located the 'floor' of the building of 120 square meters.With large balcony, it consists of a sumptuous master bedroom with sofas and dressers, living room with a corner devoted to a divan - bed, elegant marble bathroom and a large kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, fridge and toaster.

Santocanale Palace is just a few steps from the 'Four Corners' crossroads of access to the glories of the Palermo monumental Arabic-Norman and Baroque architecture and historic markets of Ballarò and Vucciria.
The area in which you will find is that of the famous theaters Massimo, Blonde and Bellini as well as popular restaurants and nightclubs charming.
Finally, a few kilometers you can enjoy the elegant beach of Mondello liberty and the nearby golf course Villa Airoldi golf club.

Stay in a real palazzo!

What a beautiful unit! The photos only hint at the scale and elegance of the apartment. All the rooms are spacious. Everything you need is here, including a washer/ dryer. Salvatore and Francesca are generous hosts. The unit was supplied with coffee and pastries, juice, water and a bottle of wine! The location couldn’t be better! Around the corner is Quattro Conti, the Four corners, the centre of the old town. Teatro Massimo is 10 minutes walk , the Cathedral is 10 minutes down the other street. By the way, both major roads here are pedestrian only! I’m not sure you could find a better spot here in Palermo.

Old world charm

Spacious apartment in a classic old building full of antiques with updated kitchen and bath. Central location means a short walk to all the sights and venues. Our generous host made us comfortable the moment we arrived. Great choice.

Best place we have ever stayed

First, the apartment is amazing. Very, very high artistic ceilings, beautiful tiled floor, and very large. It is like staying in a palace. Great washer/drier, large bathroom, living room, unusually huge bedroom with a small balcony. Second, it is possibly the best location in all of Palermo. A block away from the "four corners" (quattro angoli) and the "fountain of shame" in the heart of the old town. Minutes away from many restaurants and shops. Two doors away is a very excellent and famous jazz bar, where local musicians play until midnight (or sometimes much later). Finally, the check-in process couldn't be easier. Francesca was delightful and very helpful. She not only made the process easy, she gave us a lot of suggestions for places to eat and visit. This place is a gem. Grab it before it is booked!

fabulous apartment

The apartment was very central in Palermo, we had a great time exploring the city. The owner ensured that we had all the information we required and also a contact number if any problems. We loved the apartment, the decor and the cleanliness. We couldn't fault it - great holiday.
