Villa Monte St António -Sea views and private gardens close to the beach

The Villa is spacious inside including a large lounge and dining area and a well equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and the other bedroom can sleep up to 4 guests through the 2 single beds with pull-out beds underneath. The property sleeps a maximum of 6 people plus a baby across these sleeping options. The 2 bedrooms of the property have en-suite shower rooms. There is an additional bathroom for guests to use.

For entertainment indoors there is free Wi-Fi, cable TV, books and board games. The Villa has a fireplace and some mobile heaters for the colder months.

Outside you have a very vast private area, with furnished terrace and many relaxing areas offering a dreamy setting for a wonderful holiday.

The Villa is in a fantastic position within São Martinho, only a 5 min walk down to the bay. If you are coming with a car then the property has off street parking for 2 cars.

Pets are welcome for an additional charge (1 pet, less than 30 kg).

Villa Glade - A perfect place for pure enjoyment!

It's hard to imagine a more beautiful setting with gardens, private areas for relaxing, and spacious decks all the while enjoying a panoramic ocean view. The Villa offered great space for sitting, eating and sleeping. The kitchen was well appointed and we had some of our best meals there. Being April, we did light the cozy wood stove each night. The hikes right out the front door were spectacular and the walk to the village, the beach and restaurants was also enjoyable. Sao Martinho do Porto was central for day trips as there were many sights well within driving distance. Filipe met us at the Villa and was most gracious showing us all around and offering some advice. This was our first stop in Portugal and we feel so lucky to have found it and chosen it for our stay.

Fabulous

From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that the fotos can't show how stunning the environment and atmosphere is. Yes, the property is right by a street and yes, Sao Martinho has some ugly buildings. But the setting is perfectly quiet on a hill overlooking the wild cliffs and waves, check out the satellite picture of the perfect natural bay, the house is right on top of the narrow opening to the bay. The waters inside the bay are calm enough to swim with small kids, warmer than other places too, there is a huge sand dune on the other side of the bay and a lagoon. In this house, you can watch the waves while you cook, from the couch, hear them from your bed. We loved this simple narrow house, though it was windy and cool most of the time in the extensive gardens. Improvements? We couldn't use the bikes because there were no tools to change the height of the seats. It would have been practical to have some salt or tea in the house (though there was a generous gift). The concrete showers could use an extra scrub. It is simple but very tasteful. We couldn't help feeling like the owners were already friends with just our taste. I would move in tomorrow.

Sao Martinho do Porto

Sehr gemütliches Ferienhaus mit traumhafter Aussicht auf das Meer und die Brandung - nicht nur von der Terrasse sondern selbst von der Küche aus. Komplett ausgestattet. Aus unserer Sicht wünschenswert wäre ein etwas größeres Bett. Auf der klassischen Queengröße (1,40x1,90m und durchaus bequem) haben wir bei 1,78 und 1,88 Körpergröße schon etwas Platz vermisst. Es gibt aber ein weiteres Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten ;-). Insgesamt aber absolut empfehlenswert. Unser Ansprechpartner Filipe war sehr freundlich und hat bei Fragen schnell und unkompliziert reagiert. Gut möglich, dass wir wiederkommen :-)

Umas óptimas férias

Excelente propriedade para passar uns bons dias de férias. A casa tem todas as comunidades e está muito bem decorada. A casa está um pouco afastada do centro da vila mas mesmo com crianças íamos sempre a pé para a praia. O ambiente envolvente é por isso bastante tranquilo. O terreno da propriedade é excelente para quem viaja com crianças ou para quem tem cães.

Love at first sight

We stayed almost 4 weeks and it was amazing. We needed to work too, and it was the perfect place. Chill and peaceful with a gorgeous garden (almost like a tiny forest), with all the amenities we needed.

Ein wunderbarer Ort

Dies ist ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen. Der Ausblick auf die raue Steilküste einerseits und die malerische Bucht andererseits ist einzigartig. Die Lage hoch oben gefiel uns sehr. Eine Bäckerei und der täglich geöffnete städtische Markt sind in der Nähe. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Urlaub braucht. Es hat seine ursprüngliche Art bewahrt, was für uns angenehmer und interessanter ist, als die Reihenhäuser in der Umgebung. Das Haus ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Batalha, Tomar, Nazaré, Caldas da Raínha, Alcobaça usw. Danke an den Eigentümer. Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub.

Estadia na Villa Monte Sto António (São Martinho Porto)

Estadia muito agradável. A casa em si é boa, mas o quarto casal pequeno e fracamente equipado. O jardim envolvente da casa é fantástico e pode ser muito bem utilizado, sendo ótimo para relaxar.

Traumhafte Lage

Schönes Haus in traumhafter Lage und großes Grundstück. Toller Meerblick von der Terasse. Leider gibt es Schimmel im Haus. Daher nur bei sommerlichen Temperaturen zu empfehlen, da ständig gelüftet werden muss. Die innenliegenden Bäder sind auch schlecht belüftet.

Nettes Häuschen für Familie oder 2 Paare mit modernem Interieur und schönem Grundstück

Aufenthalt in Sao Martinho sehr schön. Ein noch nicht touristisch überlaufenes Örtchen mit schönen Stränden und nicht zu weit von tollen Besichtigungspunkten, wie Nazare Wellenstrand, Alcobaca Kloster, Coimbra Universität, Berlenga Naturschutzinsel, aber auch Porto und Lissabon. Gut ausgestattet. Im August hatten wir angenehme Temperaturen um die 24 Grad Celsius, und immer wehte ein sanfter Wind. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Tolles Haus mit fantastischem Blick über den Atlantik

Die Villa ist wirklich gut gelegen, mit einem absolutem Traumblick. Kurze Wege ins Zentrum von Sao Martinho do Porto und perfekt für Exkursionen entlang der Küste und ins Umland. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Betreuung/Kommunikation mit Felipe vor Ort klappte hervorragend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden immer wieder buchen.

Maison spacieuse mais salles de bain et chambres sinistres mobilier vetuste surtout petits lits instables, dans le placard de la première chambre énormes toiles d'araignée. Belle terrasse, vue magnifique sur la mer. Dommage que les équipements soient restreints. Attente 2 H que le gestionnaire arrive avec les clés.

Tout devrait être stable, nous demanderons aux gestionnaires immobiliers de vérifier dans le cas où les appareils sont devenus lâches. Aussi, je suis vraiment désolé que vous ayez eu des problèmes pour rencontrer le responsable de l'établissement à votre arrivée. Dix jours avant votre séjour, le 16 mai, nous vous avons envoyé un e-mail vous indiquant les personnes qui vous rencontreraient à votre arrivée. Malheureusement, vous n'avez pas lu cet e-mail, alors vous avez essayé de contacter le mauvais gestionnaire. C'est ce qui a conduit au retard que vous avez vécu à votre arrivée. Merci encore d'avoir choisi de rester dans notre propriété. Faites-nous savoir si nous pouvons vous être á votre service encore une fois. Rental Retreats.

Holidays in Sao Martinho

We are 3 women from Germany and we had a wonderful week in the villa. The view from the terrasse is fantastic. The place of the house is very quiet. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

TRES AGREABLE SEJOUR

Nous avons passé de fabuleuses vacances surtout que le temps était au beau fixe 27 ° toute la semaine. Nous avons pu faire aussi bien des visites (Lisbonne, alcobaca, obidos, sintra et batalha)que de la plage et nous avons découvert de magnifiques endroits. Les prix sur le marché de Nazaré sont très agréables (1,80 € le kg de fraises, et 9 € la demi raie chez le poissonnier d'une fraicheur pour 4 "sensationnel."..). Malheureusement les visites pour l'ile de Bélanbra débutent à partir du mois de mai. quel dommage! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
