4 Bedroom all ensuite - Portes du Soleil Morzine, All year round Fun Domaine

Chalet Belle Folie is offered on a self-catering basis for up to 11 adults + (1 child) . It is possible to comfortably sleep 9 adults in individual beds in 4 bedrooms In total we will be able to accommodate 4 couples or 11 adults in full size beds with an additional pull out bed for a child if necessary. (please inquire for more details). There are four double bedrooms, all en suite offering two bathrooms with showers and two with shower/bath facilities all tastefully decorated to a good standard. All the bedrooms have hairdryers. The lounge area has two large comfortable sofas and 2 comfortable arm chairs. There is a log fire and television. The dining area seats 12 comfortably with large picture windows that frame the splendid views of Mont Evian and village of St Jean d'Aulps. The kitchen is well equipped for all your needs. There is a pierrade and fondue sets for your disposal. There is a boot room with washing machine and place to dry clothing. The well-presented garden has a bbq and outside seating with lounge chairs. A ZACUZZI in garden. Parking is off road in a privately shared car park. The chalet is within a short walking distance to the village of St Jean d'Aulps. The ski station Roc d'Enfer is 2min drive away, also accessible by ski bus . Ardent, Morzine and Les Gets are accessible by bus or car within 15 min drive from Chalet Belle Folie.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please empty all bathroom & kitchen bins, bagging it up in black bags. Recycle in the correct bins provided by us on the balcony, We will take it away. Full compost bins, leave outside kitchen door.
On departure, please put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher, we will switch it on. Please put clean kitchen items back in the correct cupboards.
Nearer the time I will give you instructions to enter the house. Please leave the door locked, key in the door and sms me on departure. If you are leaving earlier than 10am, please tell us.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please empty all rubbish from the chalet and remov
Before departure, please ensure the kitchen is tid
The jacuzzi may not be available on your 1st night

Amazing Chalet with Absolutely Everything You Need!!

We are a bunch of guys, all around 50, who have been boarding together in the Alps, every year, for 15 years plus. We've always rented chalets as it suits our style of holiday. We've had mixed results but this one was an absolute gem. Loads of space for us (clearly meant to cater for 10 or 12 people) and we all had double beds and an en-suite bathroom each. Very clean, very homely and extremely well stocked for plates, utensils, cookware...etc. Neil and Sonia, the chalet owners, live right next door so if you ever did need anything, they are on hand immediately. We only needed to call on Neil once and I doubt you will need to even do that if you stay here. Our one minor criticism was the hot tub. The temperature was amazing but the bubbles were a bit lacking in ferocity. The tub made all the right noises but of the 40 or so jets, only a few would operate at any given time and they were not in any way powerful. I have to stress this is the only issue of concern but we were still able to enjoy the hot tub almost every evening of our stay. I'm aware we accidentally put the hot tub into "Eco Mode" but even after Neil came to the rescue and reset it, the bubbles were still barely present. I think it's an old tub that has seen better days, a bit like me and the guys who were in it. If the hot tub situation was resolved, ithe whole chalet experience would have been absolutely perfect in every way. The ultimate test of quality is when someone asks me if I'd go back to that same chalet. In this case, the answer is a resounding yes!! Highly recommended, great location being just a 10 minute drive from central Morzine, 3 minute drive away from a large Carefour supermarket (with petrol station) and amazing views from every window in the chalet. You will definitely need a car though as it's not located within walking distance of anything really. Can't conclude the review without mentioning the lovely log burner in the living room. Can't beat a real fire on a cold alpine evening. One question for you....how come you haven't booked this chalet yet????

Concernant le chalet, tout était parfait, propriétaires arrangeant et réactifs. Le village est authentique et pas surpeuplé même en période de vacances, les commerçants sont agréables et gentils. Les pistes du Roc d’enfer sont agréables même si leur nombre est limité par rapport aux stations « industrielles » mais c’est un parti pris que nous faisons régulièrement Bref, Si la cohue et les files d’attente (ambiance Disney) des grandes stations vous fait fuir, que vous aimez être considéré comme une personne venant en vacances et non comme un élément de rentabilité, que l’authenticité vous manque…Vous êtes au bon endroit.

Fantastische skivakantie

Voor de tweede keer op rij verbleven wij in deze gezellige chalet. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Netjes onderhouden, vriendelijke gastheer… Om de skipistes te bereiken neem je best de auto, maar je bent in 10 minuutjes in Morzine.

Fijne skivakantie voor het hele gezin

Superfijne vakantiewoning. Ruim huis. Na het skiën konden we genieten van de jacuzzi op het zonnig terras. Vanuit de vakantiewoning waren we binnen de 15 minuten bij de skipistes van roc d’enfer en Morzine. Neil en Sonia waren steeds beschikbaar als we vragen hadden. Absolute aanrader.

We were six adults and found the property exceptionally spacious, very clean and well maintained. Hot tub was a great bonus after a days skiing. Owners are very helpful. Thoroughly recommend this property.

Lovely, comfortable chalet in the Alps

Very nice, spacious chalet. We were a group of 7 and there was lots of living space and decent sized bedrooms, all en-suite. The kitchen was really well-stocked, even included a couple of fondue sets and a hot-stone! Loads of games and DVDs in the chalet too. Overall, a really lovely stay in a beautiful part of the world!

Our family has lived in the area for a number of years and can offer our guests valuable advice on the local area and other places of interest near to where the chalet is located. We hope to attract people who enjoy, respect the mountain and natural environment which we all share regardless where we reside.

Why they chose this property

The property is set in a peaceful area of the village which benefits from great views of Mont Evian, near ski and biking pistes, yet only 10 min walk to the center where you will find bars, restaurants and the tourist office. There are a number of country and mountain walks from the chalet. This property is maintained to a very good stand and is value for money. Although not on piste it is only a short drive a way to the entry points of the Portes du Soleil and our local ski piste which is approximately 3 km drive from the chalet. Parking is private and is off the road.

What makes this property unique

Almost all the chalets in this wonderful area have unique benefits, some have mountain views, some have central village location like the centre of Morzine and Les Gets. Our chalet has great views, situated in a residential village of St Jean D'Aulps, so you get the feel of the real Alps, not just a tourist area, yet you are within 10min walk into the heart of the village and 10 -15min drive into Morzine and Les Gets. Ski bus is available at the end of our road. Our chalet overlooks mountains and forest where you will see different birds of prey, robins, blue Jays and blue tits. In the winter months you often see deer coming near the premises. The garden is pretty and well maintained, there is also many herbs available for you to use. Whether it be Spring, Summer or Autumn this region has so much to offer from lake swimming at Montriond Lake, to yachting on Lake Leman at Thonon Les Bains or Evian. Our chalet overlooks Mount Evian the beginning of the source of the bottled water which flows freely from our taps. Annecy and Geneva can easily be reached for a day trip and if you are feeling adventurous on the day drive over St Bernards pass into Aosta situated in Italy and return through the Mont Blanc Tunnel. There is a tourist office in the village who would be happy to guide you, we are more than happy to give suggestions, just ask!
