Rural cottage with exposed stones in the heart of the Cathar country and its castles with a terrace not overlooked. Free WIFI internet access. 10 minutes from magnificent isolated swimming places in gorges. One double bedroom with four poster bed. One bedroom with 2 x 2 bunk beds. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer. Living room with fireplace, sofa, television with DVD player, CD radio. Pets welcome (2 euros / day). Capacity: 6 to 8 people. Possibility of additional beds and / or an additional bedroom with jacuzzi-type whirlpool bathtub (optional, contact us by email or phone for prices). Map of the Aude and IGN map for hiking available.

Tout le confort nécessaire en Pays Cathare

Tout ce qu'il faut pour passer d'agréable vacances.... De plus, une multitudes d'infos pour visiter cette belle région. Les propriétaires sont très disponibles et très sympathiques. Je recommande ce gîte sans hésitation.

Gîte particulièrement bien situé, entre mer et montagne, au beau milieu des châteaux cathares. Equipements et prestations remplissent largement leurs promesses. Tarif particulièrement attractif et, pour ma part, fidélisant. A très bientôt, donc !

Wunderschoenes Haus mitten im Dorf

Das Haus ist ein altes Steinhaus mitten im Dorfkern von Mouthoumet, von Aussen eher unscheinbar, innen aber ganz toll renoviert und wirklich richtig liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber (das ist mir persoenlich immer sehr wichtig!). Die Kueche ist groß und eigentlich ist alles da, was man braucht, die Terasse befindet sich im ersten Stock, wir haben hier fast jeden abend gegrillt. Wir waren eine Woche dort, haben die Schluchten der Umgebung erkundet, eine KanuTour auf der Aude gemacht und uns Carcassonne angesehen. Vor allem die Schluchten mit tollen Wasserlaeufen von Becken zu Becken, vielen Wasserfaellen und grandioser Umgebung waren absolut beeindruckend. Und es macht Spass, in einem kleinen Ort im Sueden Frankreichs ohne nennenswerten Tourismus zu leben. Die Vermieterin Christelle ist supernett, sie wohnt auch in Mouthoumet, wenige Meter vom Ferienhaus entfernt, und hilft bei Fragen zur Umgebung, der Nahrungsbeschaffung (der naechste "richtige" Supermarkt ist schon ein Stueck weg) oder sonstigen Problemen gerne und engagiert weiter. Zur Info: der Fernseher im Wohnzimmer spricht nicht Deutsch, aber eine Zeit ohne TV ist auch nicht schlecht. Wir (Markus, Jutta, Yannik (14) & Niklas (10)) haben uns im 1035981 "Gite de la Cougarde" absolut wohlgefuehlt.
