Après 3 semaines dans les landes, nous voulions avoir une semaine plutôt culturelle et aussi un peu de randonnées.au menu les châteaux de Cathares et ça manque autour de Mouthoumet, l'abbaye de Lagrasse, les gorges de l'orbieu, Rennes le Bains et Rennes-le-Château.bref les activités ne manquent pas.allez sur internet et vous trouverez pleins d'autres endroit autour de ce charmant village de l'Aude.Les propriétaires sont charmants et vous trouverez dans le gîte une foultitude d'informations.enfin, nous avons passé une excellente semaine accompagné de notre boxer Vasko.

Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine à Mouthoumet, au calme, loin des agitations de la ville

La location correspond à la description faite, La maison est fraîche et permet de passer de bonnes nuits malgré les très fortes chaleurs. A proximité des gorges de l'Orbieu où l'on trouve de vraies piscines pour se rafraîchir. Propriétaires sympathiques et discrets

Gîte avec tout le confort nécessaire pour passé un agréable séjour. Il est situe dans un petit village où la population est très accueillante et sympathique. Il est situé proche de chemins de randonnés qui débouchent sur des vues magnifiques et il est situé proche de paysages et de lieux somptueux, avec des vues impregniables. Les gérants du gîte ont mis à la disposition des classeurs ou sont répertoriés les lieux et monuments à ne manquer, ils sont fait un travail fabuleux pour faire ces classeurs qui sont très utils.

Un village très humaniste

Le gîte " La Cabaretière" est fort bien placé pour partir à la découverte des principaux châteaux, abbayes et villages pittoresques autres gorges enchanteresses de la région. L'accueil tout à fait sympathique ainsi que les habitants très affables et amoureux des animaux, nous ont permis de nous acclimater très vite à cette magnifique région. Le gîte est bien organisé et situé en cœur de village. Il y fait frais et cela se révèle fort agréable lorsque la température grimpe... Si vous choisissez cette destination, n'omettez pas de réserver un dîner au restaurant médiéval " La Rotisserie" . Votre repas complètera très agréablement la visite des sites cathares aux points de vue sublimes! Même Mina, notre chatte, a adoré les cachettes alentours...
