Perfect place at Menaggio- skip the crowds

Wonderful stay at a beautiful property. You don’t even need to leave the place - it is so beautiful and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. Great check in process and the host was very communicative.

The location was ideal. Close proximity to ferry, downtown, laundry. The setting was spectacular, we had many morning and evening times relaxing on the terrace. On the negative side, the beds were not quite comfortable and the electrical outlets were lacking. The washing machine was in disrepair for the first couple of days causing us to use the laundry across the street for 17. They did repair it while we were there.

Great Location, Clean Apartment

This was a great location. Accuracy of the listing was spot on for this spacious apartment. Nice sundeck and patio to enjoy the views of the lake. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and the staff was very easy to work with.

Fabulous view and location

Lovely apartment with a wonderful terrace and view over the lake. Apartment was nice and clean with plenty of space for 4 adults, check in was easy. Menaggio has lots of lovely restaurants nearby. My only criticism would be the pillows were thin and only 1 per bed, there were no tea towels at all ( that we could find) and no washing up liquid or cleaning cloths. Would highly recommend staying here though as these were minor issues.

Quick easy access to town, ferries, and bus.

Beautiful location! Only complaint is the street noise that goes on all through the night. The fans in each bedroom helped but didn’t eliminate the noise.

Perfectly Located

The apartment has all your basic needs with a terrace with a gorgeous view! Close to the ferries and to the lovely center of Menaggio. We rented a motorcycle in Como and a Vespa in Menaggio. We were there 7 days and had meals in the lovely restaurants. The pistachio gelato at Fabrique di Gelato is a must!

Great location

The apartment is in a great location, with a lovely view of the lake. It's very convenient for the ferry, and about three minutes' walk to the center of town. (Which is far enough out that you're not disturbed by the church bells.) The furnishings are fairly basic and, as some other reviews note, the bedroom looks out over a main street, so if you're a light sleeper the traffic (and recycling collection in the early morning) may be an issue.

Perfect!

This was our first time to Lake Como and I’m so glad we chose to stay in Menaggio! The apartment is exactly as presented in the listing. Check-in was super easy, just walk in and get the keys. It’s a very short walk from the fries, less than five minutes. It’s about five minutes into the restaurant and shopping zone as well. Plenty of choices of dining and of course, beautiful scenery everywhere

Beautiful apartment in a great location. The place was easy to find and close to the ferry port as well at the main square in Menaggio. The view of the water was beautiful. The communication and assistance with the host was good and they even assisted us with finding alternate transportation when the ferry was on strike. Lack of air condition is the only negative. It was very hot while we were there.
