Ground floor (100 m2 entire floor) of a beautiful villa with independent entrance. The apartment has air conditioning and is decorated in a modern. It has all the necessary amenities as well as stunning views of the region and its vineyards.

There is a kitchen and a large lounge / dining room with fireplace, two tastefully decorated bedrooms, a pantry, a bathroom with shower, a wc and a veranda. Large garden of 1000 m2 (jasmine, laurel, fruit trees) with private garden area reserved to the tenant. Shops of all kinds within walking distance. A large terrace with garden furniture, barbecue and arbor overlooking the garden complete the package.

The house is in the charming and authentic village of La Cadiere d'Azur where it is pleasant to stroll and eat. The village of La Cadiere d'Azur is located in the department of VAR in the heart of Provence, between Toulon and Marseille, close to major highways and the airport of Marseille. The apartment is conveniently located near the Mediterranean Sea and its beautiful beaches (8 kms Bandol, Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer).

So Pleasant!

We had a wonderful stay here. The apartment is on the ground floor of a "villa"; very spacious full of good light and distant views of "Le Castellet and Le Beausset region. It was truly a "home away" for us since we wanted to be near family but have privacy. This fit the bill! We cooked, had "apéritif with friends/family here , walked and explored this quaint, not too-touristy town. Our host, Guy Long, was charming and discreet; we felt like we had met an old friend. We certainly hope to come back again!

Very pleasant stay in a large and nice appartment in the hills

We had a nice stay with a family of four (2 adults, 2 kids of 4 and 6 years) in the appartment. The appartment was nicely furnished and clean. It has an air condition (very helpful at 35-40°C) in the living room, but that was strong enough to also cool down the rest of the appartment. The owner lives above the appartment in the first floor and was very friendly, responsive and helpful, when we had a minor problem with the toilets one time, which was also solved within a few hours. The appartment is in a small, but nice village, so we had to drive to the various beaches by car. Took about 15 minutes. In general, we very much enjoyed our stay and can recommend this very much.

Très bien située pour nos départs en promenades à moto, le logement était aussi très agréable au retour. Baies vitrées avec vue sur le Castellet et l'accès à la plancha furent largement appréciés. Les échanges avec le propriétaire vivant à l'étage étaient un plus pour avoir des conseils sur nos circuits touristiques et toujours avec la bonne humeur. Adresse à retenir pour un futur séjour dans le Var.

Besondere Unterkunft mit kl. Einschränkungen

Insg. sehr schöner Qualität voller Ort (Städtchen wie auch das Anwesen selbst) mit toller Aussicht. Mit einigen Einschränkungen im Praktischen, insb. dem Haushalt. Leider werden nur sehr minderwertiges Geschirr und Elektroküchengeräte bereitgestellt. Eine Spülmaschine, die nicht richtig spült, der nicht funktionierende Backofen (dieser wurde immerhin umgehend ersetzt), ein defekter Mülleimer, nur ein Klimagerät imWohnzimmer, nicht in den Schlafzimmern. Es wird kein Toilettenpapier, keine Spülmaschinentabs, kein Waschpulver, kein spulschwamm oder -Lappen bereit gestellt. Gewürze etc. nur sehr eingeschränkt vorhanden. Die Betten sind relativ weich, die Kissen tw. sehr hart. Spannbetttücher nicht besonders geeignet, sie verrutschen immer. Dies alles nur zur vollständigen Information über die Gegebenheiten, nicht um das Objekt an sich abzuwerten, sondern sich entsprechend darauf einzurichten. Als Begrüßungsgeschenk gibt eine Flasche Wein und Kekse. Der Vermieter (wohnt darüber) ist sehr nett und lustig, spricht aber nur Französisch, hat aber immer einen guten Tipp parat. Auf jeden Fall gibt es dennoch eine klare Empfehlung von uns.

Great property in beautiful surroundings

We had a great stay! The winter garden was very nice and we had breakfast in the sun everyday. The property is very roomy with two sleeping rooms and separate bath and lavatory. Also it is really cosy. Cadière is a nice village and great starting point to visit the surroundings. Spring was great as there were few people around. Mrs Long was also very responsive and communication was very smooth. I highly recommend the property and would definitely come again.

Le logement correspond parfaitement à la description. Il est spacieux, très bien équipé et très propre. Nous avons pris tous nos repas dans la véranda d'où on profite d'une vue superbe. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié le linge fourni ! Le propriétaire, qui habite l'appartement du dessus, est au petit soin pour ses locataires tout en restant discret. Très sympathique, il connait bien la région et peut donner de bons conseils (par exemple, celui d'aller manger au Regain, un restaurant du village...merci Guy !) La région est magnifique, aussi bien côté mer que côté terre. Il y a beaucoup à faire sans aller loin, une semaine ne nous a pas suffit. Tant mieux, ce sera un plaisir d'y retourner !

Schöne Tage in La Cadiere d'azur

Wir hatten mit 4 Erwachsenen eine schöne Zeit in der Ferienwohnung. In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden. Gesicherter Stellplatz. Auf der Terrasse gegen Abend Mückenschutz erforderlich. Herr Long, der im Haus wohnt, hat sich sehr nett und diskret um uns gekümmert. Der Ort ist sehr schön und noch relativ ruhig. Zum Baden sind wir zum Port d'alon gefahren. Trotz teurem Parkplatz ein sehr schöner Strand, auch zum Wandern sehr schön. Mit dem Boot von Cassis in die Calanques ist auch zu empfehlen.

a perfect place for vacation

We (2 adults, 2 kids) spent 2 weeks in this villa and had a fantastic time. The description matched perfect with reality and we have been very happy with selecting this place for our holidays. The hospitality was great and we felt like friends and not strangers. The village is great and also a great place to explore beaches, other villages etc. The vine is fabulous and you should not miss the local fruit and vegetable store and the roundabout just when you leave the highway. All in all a perfect stay, the villa is well equipped and we are already thinking about, when to come back.

The perfect location to explore Bandol

We were sad to leave after our second memorable stay in La Cadiere d'Azur. This comfortable flat had everything we could need or want including spacious accommodation, a perfect location for exploring the vineyards and wineries of Bandol and the charms of the town of Cadiere itself. And not to forget the best of hosst - Guy. Our stays our always too short and we're already planning the next visit.

Wir hatten gleich am Ankunftstag ein Problem mit unserem Mietwagen und Mrs. Long war überaus hilfsbereit und freundlich. Aufgrund seiner Telefonate und weiterer Aktivitäten konnten wir in kurzer Zeit einen Ersatzwagen übernehmen, wofür wir ihm sehr dankbar sind. Der Ausblick vom Wohnzimmer und dem Wintergarten ist wunderbar und ist Erholung für die Augen. Die Wohnung ist großzügig mit Bettwäsche, Handtüchern und diversen Reinigungsmitteln ausgestattet. Trotz der Lage an der Straße hatten wir einen ruhigen Urlaub und würden gerne wieder kommen.

Erholung pur Urlaub in einem malerischen Bergdorf

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub in der grosszügig geschnittenen Wohnung von Solange und Thierry. Alles war sauber und unsere Vorstellungen wurden durch die Grosszügigkeit der Räumlichkeiten übertroffen. Die blühenden Obstbäume und Pflanzen im Garten umgaben den abgeschlossenen Hof mit einem romantischen Flair. Den Wintergarten haben wir täglich genutzt, aber auch im Garten konnten wir fast täglich sitzen und die Sonne in vollen Zügen genießen. Die Gegend ist geprägt von malerischen kleinen und größeren Bergdörfern, überall gibt es kleine Geschäfte und Werkstätten, in denen man herrlich stöbern kann und oft landestypische Produkte angeboten werden. Besonders gut hat uns (neben La Cadiére d'Azur natürlich) das gegenüberliegende "Le Castellet" gefallen, aber auch die größeren Orte, wie Cassis oder Aix en Provence. Durch den im Anwesen lebenden Vermieter wurden wir sehr herzlich und angenehm betreut. Fragen oder Tipps haben wir trotz unserer schlechten Französischkenntnisse jederzeit von ihm bekommen. Das im oberen Teil des Bergdorfes gelegene Angebot an kleinen Geschäften reicht durchaus für das Notwendigste. Die Lokale und Restaurants sind sehr ansprechend und für jeden Geldbeutel ist etwas dabei. Besonders angetan hat es uns jedoch die Pizzeria "L'Harlekin"! Der einzige kleine Wermutstropfen waren für uns, als aktive Hundebesitzer die kaum vorhandenen Möglichkeiten in den zahlreich vorhandenen Wäldern zu wandern. Wanderwege gibt es in der Nähe anscheinend nur den "Sentier de Littoral" und den "Sentier de Vigne", bei denen es sich leider nicht um Rundwege handelt. Allerdings gibt es oberhalb von La Cadiere d'Azur einen Fussballplatz und einen Trimmpfad mitten in einem kleinen Wald, der für Hundespaziergänge durchaus empfehlenswert ist. Die Aussicht von der Felsplatte ist atemberaubend und unverzichtbar für jeden, der hier Urlaub macht.

Charmant séjour à La Cadière d'Azur

Nous avons passés un excellent séjour d'une semaine dans la maison de Guy (couple et une fille de 14 ans). L'appartement au RDC est très agréable, grand, propre et bien équipé. Même en avril nous avons profité de la véranda avec une très belle vue sur la campagne et les vignes. La situation du logement est parfaite pour découvrir les Calanques, Marseille, Cassis, Toulon..et randonner dans l'arrière pays. Le propriétaire séjourne au 1er étage, très gentil, il a pris soin de nous tout le long de notre séjour en restant très discret. Nous reviendrons certainement. Anne
