The apartment consists of an open space with TV and WiFi and double sofa bed, dryer and iron, kitchen with electric hob, oven and microwave, air conditioning and a balcony. Two bathrooms (one with shower, washbasin, washing machine and hair dryer) and another complete with toilet, bath and washbasin. Two bedrooms one double with balcony and one bedroom with two single beds one opens and becomes double and balcony. We provides all accessories for the kitchen and linen included. The cleaning costs are separate. Pets accepted cleaning costs separately.

The apartment was a short walk (about ten minutes) from the beach. There were several restaurants close by that were quite affordable with excellent food, and easy access to bus lines to get elsewhere on the island. There's a 24-hour grocery store a few blocks away, and a larger grocery store in the area (Welbee's) that does online delivery. It was perfect for us, & the host was very responsive. Once we accidentally locked ourselves out, and he had the door code reset in no time so we could get back in.Points to note for people whose needs might differ from ours. 1. The Irish pub across the street is quite lively until around 12 pm on weekends. The owner's very friendly, as were all the shopkeepers we met (many of them expat Brits or Macedonians), but if you want absolute quiet before that time, you won't get it, by the nature of the neighborhood. 2. The neighborhood is basically a working-class residential area up on a hill overlooking the resort area, so you do have to walk if you want to get to the more touristy areas or the beach.3. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a large apartment block. You access it through a corridor to the stairs & the lift. That public area is very bare and sterile looking and not terribly well-lit. During our stay, the elevator had to be serviced. The service was completed pretty quickly, but the building itself is a fairly typical apartment building for the area. So if you want a fancy hotel experience, look elsewhere.

Great host, best value for money
The flat is quite spacious. That was important for us with two toddlers.
The interior has seen better days for sure.
There is an Irish pub next to the building that was very loud due to long bingo and karaoke nights all over the week. Nonetheless, the communication and service was brilliant and appreciative.
Giovanni let us check in on a very short notice the night before our formal booking, and welcomed us at midnight in the flat. When minor things did not work, service or substitution had been organized very quickly.
We asked for extending our stay which was also very uncomplicated.
Therefor:
The flat comes with few compromises, but as we would not find a cheaper way of staying in Malta as family plus the flexibility, and very friendly, service oriented communications with the host, we do not regret that choice at all.
