Great central apartment by the beach

We really enjoyed our stay here in Biarritz last week with our 5 year old daughter. The apartment is in a great location very close to the beach and the shops. A few lovely little restaurants around the corner. The house is bigger than expected and owners were very accommodating. Apartment is nicely decorated and kitchen has everything anyone could need.Two lovely outside spaces for a glass of wine in the evenings, plus parking was a bonus. A great stay.

Toller Aufenthalt

Das Wichtigste vorab: Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen, wir konnten problemlos bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Wir kannten bereits das Viertel (Bibi) und wussten daher, dass die Bebauung eng ist; uns störte daher auch der verbaute Blick von der unteren Terrasse nur wenig. Das kleine Haus verteilt sich über 3 Geschosse. Etwas unpraktisch ist, dass sich das Dusch-WC quasi im Kinderzimmer befindet. Im Elternschlafzimmer ist ein Bad mit Badewanne integriert, aber keine Toilette; ein weiteres WC ist allerdings im EG. Die Fotos geben das Objekt recht gut wieder. Baulich ist das Haus im Übrigen schön. Nicht gefallen hat uns die Möblierung, hier könnte man das Haus mit geringem Aufwand deutlich aufwerten. Es fehlen z.B. schöne Außenmöbel für den Balkon der 1. Etage. Das Schlafsofa auf der ersten Etage hat es hinter sich! Die Ausstattung mit Haushaltsgegenständen ist vorhanden, auch hier wäre aber eine Neuausstattung fällig (einheitliche Gläser etc). Ein Wort noch zum Parkplatz: dieser befindet sich direkt vor dem Terrassentor und ist sehr eng; man muss sich quasi an das Tor ranquetschen; mit meinem Auto (BMW 2er Grandtour) ging dies noch gerade; breiter darf das Kfz aber nicht sein.

Un emplacement de rêve , un très beau logement . Nous avons passé un super séjour . Tout se fait à pieds , 15min du centre de Biarritz un réel plaisir de ne pas à avoir prendre la voiture et des problèmes pour se garer Commerces à proximites , cafés restaurants avec vue sur la plage à 5/10 mins sur la plage des Basques Bref idéal pour des vacances en famille et avec des ados qui peuvent être autonomes On reviendra sûrement

Parfait en termes de localisation pour concilier les envies différentes des uns et des autres au cours du séjour (adultes + jeunes entre 12 et 20 ans). Possibilité de tout faire sans voiture à Biarritz. Rue peu passante. Il manque juste un petit coin de verdure mais le littoral à proximité nous le fait oublier.

séjour entre mer et montagne

Pour notre première visite au pays Basque nous avions choisi un séjour en ville à deux pas de la plage sportive de la Côte des Basques. La maison simple et propre était idéalement située et nous a permis de profiter de cette ville. Nos propriétaires ont été disponibles quand nous avions des questions ou des demandes. Ils ont prêté à notre fils leur planche de surf. Pour randonner dans les Pyrénées voisines il faut prévoir une voiture mais vous pouvez vous garer devant la maison.

We are a family of 6, who lived in different European countries for almost 20 years now and spent a large part of our holidays in this very house.

Why they chose this property

We have a lot of familly in the region and we now rent this house where our children grew up as we now occupy the attached house.

What makes this property unique

We bought the house when we left to live overseas, for it to be a pivotal place for our children as we are moving quite often. Our priorities were a calm place, close to beaches, surf and golf courses and where our children could feel at home. We were also looking for a year long occupied area and an easy to live accommodation. We liked it at first sight, because of its quite original and very practical inside disposition.
