Cozy Romantic Cabin in the Woods--1 Mile to Downtown Steamboat
Cozy, Romantic, Secluded 1,400 square-foot, log cabin located one mile from Downtown Steamboat Springs. Bordering national forest lands, you do not have any visible neighbors--just beautiful woods all around you with a bubbling creek right outside your door. In the summer hiking and biking trails can be accessed just feet away and in the winter the same trails turn into a cross county skiing and snowshoeing paradise.
Cabin is two stories high including a full size kitchen with a wrap-around deck over looking your own private creek. The Cabin is also equipped with a full size bath room and full size washer and dryer. Dryer has a sanitizing cycle for your protection. On the main floor there is a cozy living area for watching movies, reading books, sleeping on the queen size sofa bed or just sitting by the cozy wood burning stove. Tv provided with Roku for some limited tv, Enjoy the DVD player with a selection of DVD's for adults and kids. A great selection of games is available for family fun. High speed internet is available for your computer for work or play.
The main sleeping area is located on the second floor where there are two bedrooms. One bedroom with four single beds and a separate loft room with a queen size bed. Two of the single beds are often pushed together to make a king bed in the " bunk room". Open the windows in either room and you can hear the water from the creek down below. The best sleeping pill, ever! Kids and adults love the rustic beauty of this hand built log cabin on a live stream. We are friendly to approved pets and are just steps away from a great off leash park. As well as a short walk to main street Steamboat. We are surrounded by dedicated park and enjoy wild life year round, and a lack of neighbors. The cabin is appropriate for families and 1 or 2 couples. Big singles groups will find the bed and single bath situation challenging. We are “refined rustic”, small and quaint and fully equipped for relaxation, family fun, and remote work.
Do not miss your opportunity to enjoy some of the greatest skiing in the world at Steamboat Ski Resort which is located only a few miles away. Or drive downtown to play at Howelson Ski Area day or night . The cabin is close to ample shopping and many great local restaurants. Do not miss your chance to book one of Steamboat's most iconic and unique Log Cabins. This rustic little jewel can be your 'little bit of heaven' in summer or in winter. Contact us today!

These guests were amazing! House keeping reported them to be an 11 out of 10 for the care with which they treated the cabin. Dan and Martha were great to communicate with and just delightful. Hope you will come back!
Nice cozy cabin in a very quiet area. Enjoyed the stay and the surrounding Steamboat Springs Area. The cabin had all the amenities one might want, which made they stay as comfortable as home.
This place was perfect! Tucked away just off the main roads, close to town and the slopes but perfectly isolated in a patch of wilderness!
We’ll be back, without a doubt!

Probably the best VRBO experience I've ever had. The cabin is comfy and charming. The location was absolutely perfect and the owner is just about the nicest person I've ever dealt with. I was there for work and now I cannot wait to come back and stay here for a vacation. Just a very special place.

This property is hands-down one of the most unique and special places my husband and I have ever stayed. The cabin has every amenity and even more. The owner is extremely thoughtful and the check in was super easy. If you're looking for a relaxing private mountain getaway but close to the town of Steamboat Springs, this is the place!

Glad you and your fur baby were happy at Spring Creek Cabin!
My wife and have recently stayed at this nice and cozy cabin. All we can say is that it was a great experience, we both enjoyed it and loved it! The owner was really nice and really took time to pass additional information about the cabin and town. We highly recommend this cabin. Thank you, for the great hospitality!
Very cozy and well appointed cabin in a beautiful little valley right on the edge of town - including a walking trail right outside perfect for hikers, dog walkers and cross country skiers. And the occasional moose.
The cabin was close to town, making it easy to get to the slopes and restaurants, but at the same time felt really private and secluded. We enjoyed the fireplace - it was filled with wood anticipating our arrival! Kitchen also very well stocked, we had everything we could think of for cooking. The owner really thought of everything. :) great trip!

Perfect Cabin!
This cabin is exactly as advertised. It is perfectly stocked for a comfortable stay. Right on the stunning Spring Creek Trail. If you are looking for a place to get away, yet still have some access to downtown restaurants and shopping--this is it. You may even have a bear sighting! We will certainly return.
We absolutely love The Cabin! Fully stocked, clean, comfortable; and the outdoor space was private, and relaxing! Stephanie was a pleasure to work with and so attentive to our comfort! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us and making us feel so welcomed! Hope to see you next year!

Perfect retreat close to town but secluded
What a great cabin. Has everything you need and is close to town. Loved, loved, loved our stay there. Would love to book it in the summer time (we were there in February - lots of snow!) when we could sit out on the deck and enjoy the creek! Next time! Very cozy and comfortable. Thanks for sharing!

Great guests! Please do come back . Summer on the deck by the creek is amazing! Check the calendar!! Summer books fast!
Very fun location for kids, dog, easy access to skiing. I did not realize that all the bedrooms were in an open “loft” type areas. The door to the main bedroom is about 3/4 of normal size, but my 6ft 4 husband was able to bend down & get through!

Spring Creek cabin was hand built in 1981 by a “ mountain man “ which is the reason for the unconventional and charming cabin style ! Glad your husband adapted to this unique cabin life! The “ primary bedroom” is in the loft ..separated from the “bunk room “ which houses 4 single beds. . Glad you enjoyed your stay .
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin this Spring! Everything was as described and better. The wood stove made it very cozy. The privacy of the location was incredible but just a close drive into town. The children enjoyed their own space in the loft. We will definitely rent it again in the future. The host is an excellent communicator!

Cozy Cabin, Just Right for a Getaway
This cabin is absolutely perfect if you're looking for a comfortable, laid back getaway in beautiful Steamboat Springs. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes and utensils and there are games, movies and music galore. The beds are comfortable and the hosts are extremely helpful. The cabin feels absolutely remote and secluded but in reality you're just minutes away from the main street of Steamboat plus skiing. We can't wait to make this an annual retreat!

Gorgeous creekside retreat!
I rented the Spring Creek cabin to get away from the law books for a few days. I can't say enough about how lovely the cabin and surrounding area was. Stephanie is also wonderful and made the process really easy. This place is great for those of us that have pets too! Its got plenty of hiking trails right outside the door. I will be back, many, many times.

Perfect charming cabin!
Thank you Stephanie for sharing your wonderful cabin with us for 3 nights. Steamboat was our final destination and staying at the cabin made it perfect! We were amazed at how quiet and peaceful the location was by just being a mile from town. It was also so nice to see how active residents and guests of Steamboat are as the Spring Creek Trail was very well traveled. We enjoyed mountain biking, road biking, hiking up several trails, finished nights off by visiting the local breweries (all were great!) 3 nights was not long enough so we would love to come back some day!

Serene, relaxing, and cozy cabin in the woods next to a babbling brook.
The cabin is exactly what is pictured. It was nice for the family to get out in nature and feel secluded by nature but also close to hiking trails, shopping, and our favorite tubing. The cabin has everything you need and the deck out back is beautiful. We had no problem finding it with Stephanie's great directions and she also called and left a message to make sure we got in ok.
If you are looking to get away and be close to nature but do not want to camp this is the place! We had a wonderful time.
