Siena, San Gimignano and Florence are all easily reached by car; and, on clear days, the first two of these are visible from Casanovina. Casanovina's outstanding location means there are locals living in its neighbouring apartments including the owners who will be on hand to help should you need it.

With four double bedrooms split between two in the main house and two in the separate annexe apartment, the property can accommodate up to eight people. Depending on your party, you may have a battle on your hands for the annexe apartment: its independent lounge-kitchen-diner and en-suite bedrooms will appeal to older and younger generations alike. But everyone will love the generous secluded pool, with its Roman steps, set on a romantic lower terrace with spectacular views of the surrounding Tuscan landscape. Sun loungers and a shady loggia with table and chairs, bar fridge and table tennis are enough to keep you here for hours – that is, until scent from the jasmine-covered pergola on the top furnished terrace, just outside the house, claims you for an evening meal while night sets in.



Casanovina is a place you can relax into very quickly. We think you’ll be genuinely torn between wanting to dine under your lovely pergola and trying another of Castellina’s restaurants. The combination of the property’s private pool valley views and proximity to Castellina makes it hard to beat.
