Two-room apartment fully furnished and equipped with all comforts (including sheets, towels, tea towels and tablecloths), with characteristic terraces overlooking the mountains and the village.
The garden and terraces are equipped with: outdoor chairs and tables, deck chairs, umbrellas, flower beds of aromatic herbs.
The garden products are at the complete disposal of the guests who can freely harvest the vegetables.
The kitchen is equipped with everything: dishes, refrigerator, toaster and microwave.
There is a laundry room with sink and washing machine.
The structure has solar panels for domestic hot water, cisterns for rainwater recycling and containers for separate collection.
The house can only be reached on foot via a convenient path: 50 meters from the small main road in the town, 200 meters from the parking lot located in the church square.

(this review is attached to the bottom, Eli appartment, but we actually stayed at the top appartment, Lauri. But I'm pretty sure everything below applies to both!)Staying with Elena, in Cossogno, was a truly beautiful experience. And I want to credit Elena for every part of it, because it's her who was so kind to us, speaking English and teaching us a few Italian words along the way. She really shows how much she cares for you as a guest and for her appartments.You just notice it in everything. She's proud of what she created and goes to length to explain everything to you, helping you with luggage (which is a bit more challenging because of where the appartment lies on the lovely streets of Cossogno)But it does not stop there. The appartment was very clean and maintained, down to the smallest corner. The layout makes the most of the small space and is both practical and well fitting for the place. Also, Elena made sure it has character and everything you need. No TV, but it does have WiFi, although I really think you'd rather enjoy the place, the garden, the region, the company. Elena is there for a chat or a question when you need her, but gone as soon as she thinks she's redundant. Such a joy.Cossogno is a nice corner of the Lago Maggiore, just 10 to 15 minutes away from the lake, and most scenic attraction in 30-45 minutes. The region can be busy, depending on what you expect and where you go. But Cossogno is quiet and relaxed.Highly recommended! Thank you, Elena!

Wohnung und Garten sind 1 Traum, mit Liebe zum Detail, nachhaltig und mit Herzblut eingerichtet. Man darf als Gast im Garten ernten, was man braucht. Und es gibt alles im Ort, was man braucht: 1 Bar, 1 Restaurant, 1 kleiner Supermarkt. Elena ist wie beschrieben eine tolle Vermieterin, die gern Tipps gibt für alles, was man wissen möchte (bei uns war es z. B. 1 Empfehlung für einen Käseladen).

Absolut wundervoll

Hier braucht es nicht viele Worte. Elena ist eine unglaublich freundliche nette Frau die den Aufenthalt wunderbar macht. Ihre Unterkunft ist wunderschön vorallem der Garten. Auch die Hunde haben es sehr geliebt.

Fantastisch!

Wir verbrachten supertolle Tage an diesem wunderbaren Ort. Elena ist eine fantastische Gastgeberin, die uns stets unterstützte. Die Flat ist sehr sauber , mit allem ausstaffiert, es fehlte nichts. Wir haben die Ruhe, den Blick über das Val Grande und den liebevoll angelegten Gemüse- und Kräutergarten sehr geschätzt. Wir kommen gerne wieder an diesen idyllischen Ort. Grazie mille Elena.

Perfekter Wanderurlaub

toller Ort ruhig mit kleinem Laden und Restaurant, Viele schöneWandermöglichkeiten. Die Unterkunft bei Elena Auci super sauber, ruhig und alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Elena selber ist eine aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Vielen Dank dafür.

Opgaan in het Italiaanse dorp

De woning heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor een prettig verblijf. De mensen in het dorp zijn vriendelijk en je bent zo bij het Lago Maggiore. Enige nadeel was dat het soms onmogelijk was om een parkeerplek te vinden in het dorp.

Fantastic location and great host

We stayed at Elenas House 'le 2 formicche' with our 10 year old daughter for a week and and all loved it. The house ist spotless and decorated with great care and taste, the open air areas are very nice as well. The village is quiet but has enough to offer for the everyday needs (1 restaurant, 1 little shop and a post office). The surroundings offer a lot of possibilities for different kinds of activities of different tastes. Elena is a helpfull host and nice person. Thank you, will hopefully come back soon!
