A must-see just a short walk from the property is the so-called “PONTE ROMANO” consisting of a single stone arch built at the narrowest part of the valley, marking the border between the territory of Cossogno and neighbouring Rovegro, from where you can see “l’orrido dei cani”—a splendid ravine carved by the river’s waters.<br>Also worth seeing is PARCO D’INOCA, known for its pine forest and the small church of Inoca, built in the first half of the 17th century on the site of a previous chapel dedicated to the Madonna di Re, the park’s patron saint. .<br>A 10-minute drive away is Lake Maggiore, a popular tourist destination known for its Borromean Islands and the botanical garden “Villa Taranto,” considered the most beautiful in Europe.
