Outside is a garden with patio area and off road parking for one car, as well as additional roadside parking. Hart Cottage is in the North York Moors National Park, and is only fifteen minutes' drive to Whitby, making it an ideal holiday home all year round.

Town: Glaisdale is a peaceful village in the North York Moors National Park. The village offers a post office in the general store, an excellent butcher and one hotel/pub, with restaurant. Whitby is 10 miles away, plus the villages of Hutton-le-Hole, Lastingham and Thornton Dale as well as the market town of Pickering are all within easy touring distance.
