Town: The rural village of Sneaton lies close to Whitby, and within driving distance of Scarborough, in North Yorkshire. There are some wonderful walks in the area, including the notable Monks Trod, which leads down to Whitby. This fishing port has cobbled streets and alleys, beaches, restaurants and an array of cafes as well as its 199 steps to the abbey.
