Situated in the heart of Runswick Bay, Galleon House is a delightful cottage with a charming contemporary interior, with fixtures and fittings of a high standard, perfect for a relaxing seaside break.
Looking out to sea from the living room, you could almost be in a Galleon's cabin! You are with in a minutes walk away from the sandy beach, sea, cafe and pub.
The accommodation is located over 2 floors. The front door opens on to a well-appointed, open plan living/kitchen/dining area. Downstairs is a bunkbed room, and a double room with kingsize bed and the house shower room.
Outside there is a paved patio area with a table and chairs, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sea view.

ANOTHER MAGICAL STAY!!!

We stayed for the first time in November 24 loved it so much we booked for November 25- but couldn't wait that long so we managed to squeeze in a summer visit! It's such a wonderful cottage. Same views, same warm welcome but with the sun glistening on the sea and the pub next door open every day

Weekend break in Runswick Bay

Gorgeous, pretty cottage in a perfect position in the center of Runswick Bay with amazing sea views. Particularly loved the personal touches of the birthday cake and banner for my husband.

Beautiful property with the most amazing view!The cottage itself is warm and cosy, Sarah the host, has thought of everything, there is even an air fryer! Beds are very comfortable. The interior is tastefully decorated. The welcome pack was very generous. We really didn’t want to leave!

Another wonderful stay at Galleon House

We cannot praise this property or the host highly enough .A beautifully furnished fully equipped cottage in the most stunning location with fantastic views across the bay .The added touches from the host of the extremely generous welcome pack and fresh flowers evidences how they value the comfort and enjoyment of people who rent the property .

Beautiful cottage

Beautiful! we loved Galleon house it’s in the heart of Runswick bay, with amazing sea views from the living room, so clean and tasteful decor You are in minutes walk to the beach, cafe, pub. Definitely will be returning in the near future.

My sister and I really enjoyed our stay in Galleon House. The interior is lovely and well equipped. The gorgeous cake, wine and bread went down a treat too. Thank you! The view from the sitting room is to be long remembered and I hope I may return for another stay in the future. Highly recommended.

What an absolutely beautiful cottage and gorgeous location. Can’t find any faults whatsoever. Host Sarah left us a lovely Victoria sponge, bottle of Prosecco, Crisps, milk, orange juice, bramble jam and a loaf of bread. Thank you so much. Highly recommended.

Have been to runswick bay previously it's a great location but unfortunately 1 week before my holiday i had a hart attack the host was very understanding so many thanks and hopefully next year i will be able to come

Wonderful Winter Break

Galleon House is a fantastic cottage. Great views across Runswick Bay. Perfectly located. Very comfortable ( especially the beds ) and absolutely everything you could need is provided for that 'home from home' feeling. Great communication from Sarah ( who kindly returned a 'phone charger we had left behind ) and a lovely welcome pack of cake, bread,jam & prosecco on arrival. I highly recommend Galleon House as a holiday destination and we will certainly return again. Paul & Gill.

Beautiful

I have stopped in Runswick bay before and always admired this property so was happy to be staying here for my birthday. The property is beautifully decorated and has amazing views of the sea from the large lounge windows. It has a very well equipped kitchen and welcoming gifts of a home baked cake,Prosecco and bread and jam were very welcome. The bedrooms were lovely and bedding and fresh towels were provided. The walk in shower was great. As it was my birthday the 20 steps or so to the Royal Hotel pub was very much appreciated, a very welcoming place with a warming fire. Would absolutely love to stop here again.

The position of the house with its many windows provides beautiful views of the whole bay which we never tire of looking at. Fantastic cottage overlooking the sea..the views from the big windows were amazing..absolutely everything you could possibly need is in the cottage ..sarah the host left a fantastic welcome package and a beautiful homemade cake which went down a treat each day after a walk on the beach.. and the chocolates left on the pillows were a lovely touch..The furnishings were all beautifully thought of with the character of the cottage..The surrounding area was beautiful too..we will definitely be back as we loved it so much..The pub next door was also welcoming with lovely food ...

Fantastic staycation

Beautiful cottage in beautiful Runswick Bay. Everything was just perfect from the moment we walked through the door and the extra touches were just the icing on the cake. The cottage has a games cupboard, a well stocked kitchen so made cooking very easy, coffee machine and pods, netflix, a homemade cake, prosecco, milk, jam and butter were all those extra touches that give the owner the 5 stars she deserves.Will definitely be returning as my family had a great time and my kids are keen to go fossil hunting on the beach again.Thank you for being an amazing host, your cottage is outstanding

Wonderful cottage

What a wonderful weekend we have had at Galleon House. This cottage is stunning and the attention to detail in the accommodation and decor is first class. All home comfort you can ever dream of and the homemade lemon drizzle cake was outstanding. Can’t wait to go again next year.

A nice rest

This property must be the best in the village. There are wonderful views across the bay and if the window is open, you can hear the waves lapping onto the beach. The property has just about everything to make the stay comfortable and the kitchen is a dream with every utensil you could ever want to use. The host, Sarah, is available and so very helpful to sort any queries. And it was wonderful to be greeted with a welcome pack of essentials like bread, butter and milk, and extra treats like a freshly baked cake and bottle of Prosecco. We went away for a nice little break and this property was the perfect place.

Another fabulous stay at Galleon House. The house is stunning as are the views across the bay. We enjoyed swimming and walks on the beach. Sarah’s attention to detail is amazing, the beautiful decor dressed with hearts and flowers for Valentine’s was a lovely touch. The house has everything you need and more for a lovely stay. There was an amazing welcome pack, we especially loved the homemade cake, jam and Prosecco along side milk, juice, bread and butter. We’ve already booked to return.

Amazing place

Absolutely amazing cottage, really well stocked with everything you could conceivably need for a comfortable stay. The homemade cake and welcome pack of bread, milk, jam, orange juice and prosecco were fabulous. We had a blissful New Year with fireworks on the beach, a pub next door and the sound of the sea to wake up to. We loved it, thank you Sarah for the whole experience. Absolutely a five star property.
