About this property

Casa Azúl with pool, barbecue, Wifi and Netflix

Cozy house, in rural area, with integral remodeling in August 2019, with all the comforts, adapted to new technologies including 43 ”smart TV. It has a kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook comfortably.

Located on a farm of 25000 square meters.

For 30 years its owners have repopulated this farm, carefully selecting a wide variety of endemic flora of the Canary Islands, making this place a spectacular garden overlooking the summits.
It has ethnographic elements: a traditional Canarian winery, and a haystack cataloged in restoration.

This is one of the four completely independent houses, with a distance of about 50 meters from each other, between dense groves and fruit trees. It does not share any installation, except for the pool.
It is the perfect place to truly rest, have tranquility and peace in the midst of nature, near the best hiking trails in Las Cañadas National Park.

Das Gelände ist wundervoll - grün, ruhig, weitläufig, alles sehr hübsch angelegt, auch die Häuser. Die Unterkunft selbst fanden wir für Größe und Ausstattung zu teuer. Es war alles sauber, allerdings roch man im Bad die Kanalisation, weil keine geeigneten Syphons verbaut sind. Die Wirtsleute sind freundlich, sprechen allerdings ausschließlich spanisch, darauf sollte man vorbereitet sein. Es gibt auf dem Gelände insgesamt drei Unterkünfte, von denen wir zwei sahen bzw. bewohnten. Das nächste Mal würden wir die andere Unterkunft wählen.

Es war echt fast perfekt das was wir gesucht haben. Abglegen und ruhig. Persönlich und kein Hotel. Pool. Grün und Natur rundherum. Mit nettem Offen und extra Küche bzw Bad. Sehr bemühte und sympathische Gastgerber*innen persönlicher Empfang. Kleines manko - von den Fotos her hatten wir gesacht, wir hätten eine andere hütte. Mooie property, aandacht voor detail. Goed onderhouden en praktisch. Zoals je in Tenerife vaker zie, ook hier flink berg op voordat je er bent. Nadeel dit chalet, bed is met 190cm kort zat. Toch de moeite waard dit rustige, mooi groene verblijf te boeken.

Een heerlijk huisje, met veel buitenruimte op een prachtige, groene en goed onderhouden Finca. Je verblijft echt midden in de natuur. ‘s avonds was het nog fris, maar dan is het huisje goed te verwarmen.

A beautiful tucked away oasis

Great location and a lovely little holiday house for two - the surroundings and are beautiful and there is a lovely pool and outdoor area, though it was a little too cold for swimming and BBQs when we were there. Very attentive hosts and a convenient location, despite being quiet and tucked away.

Idyllisches kleines Paradies inmitten einer schönen Gartenlandschaft

Wir waren dieses mal sehr spät dran mit buchen der Unterkunft, umso erfreuter waren wir, dass wir mit dem Casa Azul ein wunderschönes Kleinod in Orotava entdeckt hatten. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern lief bestens und alle anfallenden Fragen und Probleme wurden sofort gelöst. Das Haus ist wunderschön, 2019 neu eingerichtet, alles da was man braucht, ideal für 2 Personen, absolut ruhig, inmitten von Bäumen und Wiesen, sehr idyllisch gelegen. Leider war das Wetter in der ersten Januarwoche relativ kalt, so dass wir den wunderschönen Pool nicht austesten konnten. Dafür ist das Haus ist mit einem neuen Pelletofen ausgestattet, so dass auch Kälteperioden erträglich sind. Nachdem grad die Orangen reif waren, wurden wir von den Besitzern mit frischen Orangen (und auch Äpfeln) aus dem eigenen Garten versorgt. Die Anbindung ist sehr praktisch. Man ist (mit dem Auto) in wenigen Minuten am zentralen Wander- und Grillparkplatz mit endlosen Wander- und Spaziermöglichkeiten in den Orotava-Wäldern, mit der Anbindung an die Teidestrasse ist man auch rasch auf der Hochebene zum Teide oder unten an der Küste. Ein absolutes Highlight auf der Insel: Wir kommen wieder!

Casa Azul - el paraiso

Wir (2 Erw.) haben zwei wunderbare Wochen in diesem kleinen Haus verbracht. Wir wurden sehr nett willkommen geheißen , im Haus erwarteten uns frische Blumen und ein Obstkorb mit Äpfeln aus dem eigenen Garten. Geschmackvolle Einrichtung mit Blick fürs Detail, gut ausgestattete Küche. Der Garten bzw. das gesamte Grundstück der Finca...ein Traum. Toller alter Baumbestand, herrliche Blumen und der Pool - wenn auch relativ kalt Ende Oktober - man musste einfach reinspringen. Die Lage fernab vom touristischen Trubel herrlich und trotzdem alles gut erreichbar. Sehr freundliche Gastfamilie. Für Ruhesuchende eine echte Empfehlung!
