Perfect for a short break!
We had a lovely time at Manor Cottage over a long weekend. Although it is just a 1 bedroom cottage the proportions are good and perfect for a couple...with a dog. The cottage was well presented and had modern fittings. We ate all our meals in the cottage and found the kitchen to be well equipped. The garden was a good size and safe for our dog. The location of the cottage was great. There is a very good village shop, and a butchers shop as well as two pubs in the centre of the village. We walked directly from the cottage, Our walk around Cissbury ring was mostly off-road on established paths. We also crossed the main road and walked up Church Hill on footpaths, which has some great views. We also visited Ferring Beach and had a great Fish & Chip lunch at the Bluebird before we headed home.

This is a cosy and tastefully decorated cottage with modern comforts in the heart of a friendly village community. We slept really well during our stay over Christmas and found the cottage a wonderfully convenient place for walking in the Downs, eating out (four restaurants and a hotel within a few hundred yards), shopping for groceries and relaxing in one or other of the two traditional pubs. We ventured outside the village to visit family over the festive holiday but otherwise found everything we needed on the doorstep. Would love to return in the summer and make use of the garden!

We spend a lovely relaxing 6 nights here in November 2019.
We spend a lovely relaxing 6 nights here in November 2019. The cottage is recently refurbished to a very high standard and the owners were very helpful and accommodating with a welcome tray provided on our arrival. We found it to be cosy and warm in the evenings and can image the garden would be a lovely addition to relax in on a summers day. Its a quiet village that is near to lots of beaches, walks and attractions so plenty do do in the local area. We walked to the local pubs in the evening and had no problems parking near to the cottage every day when we returned from a day out. I would recommend this to a couple for a short break and Finlay our dog would certainly recommend for other furry friends.
