Excellent stay

Wonderful little cottage with all needs catered for. Great area had a couple of lovely days exploring the area. Found some excellent places to eat/drink especially the Gribble Inn Oving scrumptious food and very reasonable

Fabulous cottage

We had a lovely short break and Elm Cottage was perfect. The cottage was very inviting and well equipped. Lots of lovely touches such as the hamper and freshly cut flowers. The beautiful little garden was ideal to sit in the evening to enjoy a glass of wine. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay.

Cosy cottage

Cosy small cottage with everything you need. Beautiful garden area to sit. Beautiful area for walking in the South Downs just outside the city of Chichester. I would recommend.

Beautiful pittoresk stay

We had a lovely stay at Elm Cottage, the small garden and English interior made it very pittoresk. The owner was so lovely to provide us with some bread, milk and homemade jam for breakfast. Thank you very much!

Gorgeous Cottage

Thank you for letting us stay at your cottage. We loved it there. The location I found was great, close to where we wanted to be. It was easy to find. Loved the garden with apples growing and blackberries, lots of beautiful flowers. It was so nice to relax. The cottage inside was well equipped with everything one would need. I wish we could have stayed longer. Maybe when we come back to England.

Short stay for a wedding

Very clean property. All as described on the website. The welcome pack was useful and there was plenty of heating and hot water. The only negative was the bed. It was comfortable enough but as it is a metal frame it was noisy when you turned over.

Perfect

Carol and Jasper made my dog and I very welcome indeed. The cottage is so pretty, a lot of love has gone in to it, which made it feel like a place where you can simply relax and call a home. Carol has thought of everything, so never fear if you think you’ve forgotten to bring something, she’ll have it covered. It is by far the best self catering accommodation that I have ever stayed at, I’m hoping to return again soon.

Lovely location but…

Property was clean/spotless on arrival. Lovely welcome basket of goodies and a small bottle of Prosecco to welcome in the new year. Had booked a 3 night stay but sadly my husband and I found the bed incredibly uncomfortable. After such a poor night sleep we decided to go home and sacrifice the final 2 nights. Hosts were most hospitable and understanding although we were not offered a refund. All other aspects were lovely 😊

A little paradise

Beautiful cottage and garden. Carol is a delightful host and our stay was too short. Everything we needed was there and so well thought out, even treats for our dog (who was totally safe in the secluded garden) and lovely touches that made it all feel very special indeed. The moment we stepped into that little cottage we felt totally welcome like a big hug.

Excellent!!

We couldn't have wished for better accommodation. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Carol but everything was perfectly organised. The cottage was a peaceful, private haven with everything catered for and spotlessly clean. The welcome basket was a real treat! Wish we could have stayed a bit longer but hopefully there'll be another time ....... Thank you Carol.

Perfect ‘Get Away’

Just cosy and perfect escape

Carol and Jasper really make you feel at home and don’t hesitate to help if necessary! I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay and I was lucky to find out they had a bicycle I could use! Perfect couple of days to cycle around Goodwood countryside and I also enjoyed their beautifuly kept garden with different flowers and various corners to discover 👍🙏😀
