Amazing find.

Beautiful, warm and cozy cottage perfectly situated in Bakewell. We were a family of five and dog on a three day break. The cottage was great and had everything we needed. The cottage is situated in the centre of Bakewell which meant we could just walk out to the parks shops pubs and restaurants. Veronika was amazing with her communication and went above and beyond to return some items we accidently left behind. I have already recommended to family and friends and we will certainly be back.

Perfection

This was a lone trip for myself. A bucket list, English countryside getaway and writing retreat- and it could not have been better. The location of the cottage is PERFECT. A quick walk and you’re in town. Coffee, shopping, fantastic pubs, chips by the River Wye all within a minutes walk. Accommodations were exactly as advertised- but better. So cozy. So quaint. So thoughtful in detail. And hosts Veronica and Drew could not have been more helpful and warm. It is my absolute intention to come stay again. In a word- Priory Cottage is MAGICAL.

Lovely cottage central to Bakewell

This property has everything you need and is ideally located in the centre of Bakewell and a good base for exploring the Peak District. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The only minor issue is the main road it’s located on. Unloading was ok with the hazards on and mounting the pavement. We had no problem locating a permit car park space in the nearby side streets. I’d definitely recommend a stay here.

Outstanding stay

What a beautiful and well equipped cottage. We didn’t want for anything. The living room was super cosy and the double bed was super comfy. The muffins and Prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch. Thanks you Veronkia and Drew we will definitely be back

We are a couple living in Sheffield but we just love Bakewell. We decided to buy the house in countryside where we can escape from our busy lives. At the same time we would like to share this opportunity with others. Therefore, this beautiful cottage is available for short let.

Why they chose this property

Bakewell is a traditional market town and we feel this cottage fits perfectly into the town. It has unique and traditional features but still accommodates a modern family and their needs.

What makes this property unique

Parking is challenging in Bakewell but we provide a Parking Permit for your stay which gives you a benefit to use designated spaces for residents. The closest parking is just 50m away. Afterwards you do not need to use the car as restaurants, coffee houses, shops and local amenities are all in walking distance (200m).
