Wonderful cabin! Great communication with rental company! The only thing that wasn't good is that there were no pot holders in the kitchen and all the pool sticks but one was missing the ends.
The cabin is very nice and clean. The view is great and the hot tub was a big hit in the evenings. The road up to the cabin is steep and winding which is fine but just want to make sure people know that so they can be prepared. Our only issues were that the pull out sofa did not have blankets or pillows left for it, only a sheet set. The other issue was that you are asked to do the dishes and put them away before you leave, which again is fine but there is no soap provided to do so. So all in all this is a great place to stay and we enjoyed our trip!!
That cabin was everything mentioned in the listings and then some. It was literally the favorite part of our whole trip. So quiet and restful. Will stay again.

Thank you for sharing such kind words! We’re delighted to hear that the cabin was the highlight of your trip, providing the peace and relaxation you were looking for. It would be a pleasure to welcome you back for another quiet and beautiful stay!
We loved the location, it felt secluded but close to everything. The beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was amazing to relax in. We will definitely book again.
Check in and out was very simple and fast. Communication was easy with quick responses. There was a little evidence left that this is a pet friendly cabin but nothing that would make me not want to stay again.

Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the cleanliness and quietness of the place. We'll definitely address the issues with water pressure. Rest assured, the property is regularly inspected by a professional pest control company. We appreciate your input and hope to welcome you back for an even better stay!
The cabin was very clean and nicely stocked. I was so excited to see a beautifully decorated Christmas tree in the living room. The owners were very good with answering any questions we had and providing easy entry into the cabin.
Overall great stay. The water pressure was our only issue. It was very low and almost not existent at times with 4 women with us. My wife did miss having a swing on the porch.

We're truly sorry to hear about your recent stay at our cabin. Your feedback regarding the cleanliness, particularly the stains and the presence of roaches, is concerning and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. We take great pride in providing a clean and comfortable environment for all our guests and are currently investigating this matter to prevent similar occurrences in the future. Rest assured, we have strict cleaning procedures in place and utilize professional pest control services to maintain a pest-free environment. We value your patronage and hope you'll give us another chance to demonstrate our commitment to exceeding your expectations.
Quick trip to the smokies for our family with a stay in secluded retreat. The cabin was clean and looked just like all the pictures. We enjoyed our stay and the fact it was pet friendly so our “entire” family could go was fantastic. The only downfall to the cabin is it’s location. When I say straight up a hill I mean straight up a hill with a very narrow road that’s got lots of break offs in it. Other than the road to the cabin everything was perfect!

Management was quick to respond to needing new pillows. But cabin was dirty, very outdated, fire place didn’t work but for the first 45 seconds it’s turned on for then stops. Not enough towels or wash clothes for a week long stay. Blinds, closet doors and some drawers/handles on dressers were all broken. There was a pool table but literally only 1 stick and it was broken. Carpet up stairs needs replaced asap. Also first cabin we ever stayed at that wasn’t decorated for Christmas the week of Thanksgiving. We come to pigeon forge every year for the week of Thanksgiving and this was def not our fav cabin, especially for the price.

Thank you for providing feedback on your stay at A Secluded Retreat. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced with the cleanliness of the place. Your comments are valuable, and we assure you that we will address the issues to enhance the quality of our accommodations. We appreciate your reservation and hope to have the opportunity to host you again for an improved experience.
enjoyed our stay. One lane bridge was scary! They need to re-do it for sure. We had an issue with the hot tub not working and Rusty spoke with us and got an agent out there same day and it was just a breaker. :) They do need to replace the carpet up stairs due to stains and also looks like a dog was left in there alone due to carpet tears. We would use AUNT BUG'S cabin rentals again.

Thank you for your review! We’re happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay overall and that we were able to resolve the hot tub issue promptly. We appreciate your feedback about the one-lane bridge and the carpet, and we’ll take it into consideration as we work to improve the property. It’s great to know you’d choose Aunt Bug's Cabin Rentals again, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future!
Nice property way up the mountain. We have stayed in many cabins over the years. This one was nice with a few exceptions compared to other cabins, very sparce on amenities. No tissues or dish soap. Also lots of extra pillows in closets but we only found one extra pillow case in whole cabin. We could have asked them to bring some (they texted to let them know if we needed anything) but opted not to as we were only there for 2 nights so we made do.

Thank you for leaving a review! We appreciate your feedback and will let the owner know as well to make improvements so this cabin can be even better. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you again soon!!
We absolutely love the view from the cabin, however, the cleaning crew seemed to overlook all the cobwebs both inside and outside of the cabin and left hair in the master bathroom. The kitchen was scarcely stocked. There was only one big cup to drink out of but plenty of coffee cups and liquor glasses, although there didn't seem to be a matching set. There wasn't any hand soap in the kitchen for hand washing. This was our 10th trip in 5 years to the area and it was the first time we had ever experienced this. The carpet in the upstairs bedroom needs replacing and the pool table needs to be cleaned, along with all the windows. Again, the cabin is nice and the view is beautiful but for guests, the details are what makes the cabin memorable. We would stay again but hope the cleaning crew would show more effort.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We're so glad to hear you loved the beautiful views and found the cabin itself to be nice, but we’re genuinely sorry that the details of your experience fell short. Cleanliness and a well-stocked kitchen are important to us, and your notes about cobwebs, leftover hair, and missing basics like hand soap have been shared with our housekeeping team to ensure better attention to detail moving forward. We also appreciate your comments about the carpet and pool table, and we’ll look into addressing those issues. Your insights help us improve, and we’d love the opportunity to provide a more polished experience on your next visit.
The hot tub was dirty, so we didnt use. The upstairs shower leaked thru to room below. But we did enjoy our stay

Mountain Top
The porch was covered in leaves and the furniture on the porch was in poor condition. The road leading to the property was winding and barely enough room for one car much less two cars. The bridge leading to the road needs some work and is very narrow, our truck was almost was to big to cross it. Tv remotes were mixed up and it took us one whole day to figure out the tvs, no directions on site. The pool table on the second floor was nice but due to the angle of the roof it was very hard to play a decent game. Also there were only two pool sticks which made it impossible for us all to play a game together. We definitely will not stay there again.
