Jackie is wonderful! The communication was outstanding. Cabin is beautiful, there is a nice place to take the dogs out. This is a great place to stay❤️❤️
Came up here from south florida with our dogs and absolutely loved our experience. The drive up to the cabin is a tad scary if youre not used to driving up mountains. But the price was fair and the views are 100% worth it
Great property- quiet refuge! Gorgeous view of the mountains!! Loved the cabin, deck and well stocked kitchen!
Will definitely make this a keeper in the future!
Fantastic stay! We LOVED the view! The neighbor got a visitor from a black bear family which was a great experience! Hot tub was nice to be in while catching the amazing view. Pool table / video games were great too! Property owners are very responsive with great communication which made the entire process smooth and enjoyable.
The drive up to the cabin takes ~7 minutes from the main gate on a tight road, but that is to be expected with a cabin in the mountains! Well worth the drive to have the view.
Community pool was nice. We did not use the bball hoop, tennis or pickleball courts, but we saw other people using them so they must be good! There is an enclosed dog park area which was great for our dog to use! There are some disc golf holes to use so remember to bring your discs! There are also various other games in the community area (connect 4, tether ball, putting green, etc)
We would definitely recommend a stay at this location!!!
The property was just as described and the view was incredible. There are some mountain roads to arrive at the destination, with a steep driveway- but worth it to see the view from this location. Jackie was an excellent host and communication was a breeze! The cabin was clean and well cared for. The beds were super comfortable! We even got to see a mama bear and her two cubs scamper by one morning! It was a wonderful vacation and the cabin was a huge part of that. We hope to visit again!
Wonderful Cabin views are beautiful and everything you need is there. Jackie, the owner is outstanding with her communication with us. You are about 15 minutes from pigeon Forge highly recommend this was our second time we will be back again.
We had a perfect stay! The property is amazing! The views in all directions were incredible. Very clean with all you need for your stay and very easy to communicate with the property manager. I highly recommend
This cabin was perfect for our family of 4. The beds were comfy. The views were AMAZING! The host was great at communicating. We even had a bear stop by while we were out and the host sent us a video! I would highly recommend this place.
I included one pet in my VRBO application.
Owner charged damage claiming pet was not disclosed.
There was no damage and owner refused to accept pet notification on VRBO application as sufficient prior notice of a pet.
I advised VRBO of the issue but did not receive any help from VRBO.
The best thing I can say, is we rebooked for the spring before we even checked out. The cabin was awesome, very cozy and had everything we needed. The views In the front and the back were beautiful. Jackie is the owner and I’ve never had anyone so attentive. She was perfect. Hopefully we will be able to stay at her cabin many times this year.
The cabin was very nice and had great views. There were several porches to relax on and the unit was clean. The kitchen had a lot of utensils and things you could cook with and there was a grill on-site. It was handy having a washer/dryer on site, we used it quite a bit since we stayed a week. The host kept good contact before checking in and when we left. We used the hot tub quite a bit but the jacuzzi couldn't fill up with hot water due to its size and water tank size so didn't bother with it.
One warning I'd give since you wouldn't know this ahead of time and the only negative is the roads to/from the cabin are very bad, even comparing to other cabins we've stayed in over decades. Many blind turns you cannot see around, big inclines/declines and cannot see the road ahead, sharp turns as you go uphill at the same time including the driveway to the cabin. It'd probably be very scary if there was snow/ice on the roads. Whoever originally built this development didn't think much of the visitors when they did the roads.
They were building new units and those guys left a trailer on the road, which made that part even narrower and they never even used it the whole week so I don't know why they couldn't move it to an area to make it safer for visitors. I got used to the roads throughout the week but my whole party had some hesitations when we first went up. So if you have any fear of heights, might not be the unit for you.
