Overall nice rental property
We stayed in this cabin just short of a week. The location is great. Just a few miles away from all the attractions and far enough away to be peaceful. The house is very large and accommodating. We had two dogs with us and found the space to be great for our little family. The hot tub and wrap around porch were nice additions, and the shower stall looked recently updated and was very spacious.
Pros: Location-very short drive to all the attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Clean, spacious and very easy check in/out process. Management company was easily accessible for any questions or issues and the house was actually bigger than I expected it to be from the pictures. Full size appliances was a plus.
Cons: The houses in the community are quite close together and the driveways are extremely steep. There weren't any issues for us with this, but the pictures are misleading. There is a washer/dryer combo in the cabin but we had an issue with the dryer turning off and running a fully cycle. The dishwasher also left the dishes very wet and sudsy. The house was clean, but I have stayed in properties that were cleaner. Nothing gross or that would prevent me from coming back, but there were cob webs in a lot of places, the fridge had been wiped out, but not cleaned thoroughly, the counters were a little dusty, and so were the lamps and walls in the bedroom. The updated shower with dual shower heads was a really nice addition, but the one shower head never got hot.
