290 reviews ⭐️ Treehouse Views & Privacy! Awesome Updates Only 5 Min to Parkway
We can’t wait for you to experience the newly renovated TreeHouse Hideaway! All new kitchen, floors, mirrors, wall paint, fire table, mattresses, window shades and more. This cabin is filled with so many comforts and conveniences—you really have to see it in person to discover all the attention to detail. Please note:
► Pet stays must be approved BEFORE you book.
► Dog owners, please scroll down for details on how to request a pet stay.
Welcome to your new, favorite cabin in the Smokies! TreeHouse Hideaway--now in its 19th year—is only a 5 minute drive to the Parkway in Pigeon Forge (2.5 miles to traffic light #3). You'll love the proximity to popular attractions:
► The Island in Pigeon Forge, 3 miles
►Dollywood, 6.5 miles
►Foothills Parkway (Wears Valley entrance), 7 miles
►Gatlinburg, 10 miles
► Great Smoky Mountains National Park, 13 miles
►Cades Cove, 16 miles
TreeHouse Hideaway is a 1300 square foot, two story cabin. Here's what you can expect when you first arrive and are outside the cabin:
►Paved driveway and parking for 2 vehicles
► One acre of woods surround the cabin
► 4 steps to the entry door
► Sloped yard for dogs to do their business (we provide a pooper scooper)
► Large lower deck with outdoor dining table and seat cushions
► Hot tub (4-5 person) with cover lift bar and privacy curtains
►Charcoal grill
► Outdoor lighting (well-lit driveway and deck)
►Schlage keyless entry with your own, unique key code
When you walk into the cabin, you'll be standing in a small foyer. There's a bench and hooks to hang your coats. On the left is the laundry room; on the right is a full bath with a standard tub and shower. A few steps further into the house and you'll be in the open space for the kitchen, dining table and living area.
The kitchen is well-equipped with quality cookware, glass bakeware, half-sheet baking pans, pizza pan, wood cutting board and knife block, grilling utensils, etc. The cabin has plenty of small appliances, too:
► Cuisinart waffle maker
► Ninja smoothie blender
► Crockpot
► Toaster
► Keurig
► Drip coffeemaker
► Electric kettle
► Icemaker (in freezer)
The dining table is adjacent to the kitchen and has pretty views to the woods from the large window. The living area makes up the rest of the main floor. You can put your feet up and relax in one of two recliners in the motion sofa. Or we've got two leather club chairs with ottomans. Everyone gets a great seat.
► The 65" TV over the stone fireplace is a smart TV and is connected to Xfinity internet. We provide YouTube TV with more than 140 channels--including all major networks, sports, weather and entertainment. If you'd like to watch your own content (like Netflix, Hulu and Max), you can sign in and enjoy your favorite shows while away from home.
► The gas fireplace is available from mid October to mid April. Just turn the timer switch and you'll have instant flames. And for entertainment, there's a video game table with dozens of classic games: Pacman, Space Invaders, Frogger, Donkey Kong and more.
► Upstairs on the second floor, you'll find the two bedrooms; a large bathroom with jetted tub and tiled shower; and another deck leading from one of the bedrooms. In September 2024, we updated the king mattresses with Novaform ComfortGrande Plus Gel Memory Foam (rated medium for firmness). Both bedrooms offer you:
► Plush pillows and quality linens (we replace pillows every 12-18 months)
► Ceiling fan
► Extra large closet
► Luggage rack
► Wooden hangers
► 46" Smart TV with YouTube TV in bedroom with french doors
► 32" Smart TV with YouTube TV in the other bedroom
The bedroom closest to the bathroom also has a small corner desk, lamp and chair. It's a quiet space for checking emails or making a quick call to work. But hopefully, you won't have to!
There is a single Ring security flood cam that lights up the driveway as you pull in. The camera does not save recordings and it only shows the driveway and parking area. This camera allows us to monitor inclement weather at the cabin and be aware when our housekeeping, pest control or any other service providers have been there. We don't actively monitor this camera.
We want you to have an amazing vacation and make sure TreeHouse Hideaway is a good fit for your needs. Please let us know if you have any questions prior to booking.

About the host
Hosted by Jen Monschke & co-host Amy Greener

Hi I'm Amy Greener and along with my husband Rick, we own our 3 cabins in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Our goal is to give you the best vacation rental experience ever. We hope to retire to the Smokies someday but for now, this is our family business and it keeps us busy!
Why they chose this property
When we first saw the cabin in 2007, my first impression was how much it reminded me of my elementary school years hanging out at the neighbor's treehouse (I always envied that lucky kid lol). The wooded privacy, the bird calls, the sun filtering through the trees...it just felt like a grown-up version of a childhood hangout. It needed a lot of updating but we saw potential. It's been many years and several updates and renovations along the way. It's been a source of joy to share it with our guests!
What makes this property unique
If you want privacy, comfortable living and a convenient location, the TreeHouse is an ideal choice. Of our three cabins, the TreeHouse is where I prefer to stay when we're here on a work trip. It's 2.5 miles to the Parkway at Light 3 in Pigeon Forge...less than 5 minutes. I love the kitchen for making meals at the house, the WIFI for checking emails, the spacious bedrooms and pillow top beds for a good night's sleep, the new decks...and the feeling that you're up in a TreeHouse looking out to the mountains through the trees. It's so private and peaceful.
