The accommodation The house is delightful, restored conservatively. The floors are all natural stone (travertine) and wood. The furnishings treated with attention to the chromaticity of the house and some element of innovation that does not hurt. With the exception of the kitchen, the whole house is furnished with restored period furniture. The bathrooms have been completely renovated but leaving the imperfections of the walls and enhancing the stone that is the backbone of the entire house. Having a room on the ground floor, completely independent from the rest of the house, it can be rented all together or separately. The house also has a small outdoor garden that allows you to experience Collodi Castello in the open air.

The property alone is a holiday in itself. There are no real words to describe how magnificent the place is. From the beautiful interior, to the breathtaking views you experience the moment you open the bedroom windows. With bathrooms on every floor, and an open plan kitchen to have the perfect breakfast at, what's there not to like? Everything was absolutely perfect.
You need to drive up to get to the place as it is quite high up and steep, but the reward you get when you reach the top is worth every minute.
It is in Collodi, which is about a 40 min drive to Pisa and about 50 mins drive to Florence. A nice retreat after you have been visiting the main cities in Tuscany.
We would definitely go back here again.
Highly recommended.
