This is quite the hidden gem in the vast amount of choices where you can stay in Rome. A quick and flat rate taxi ride from the FCO airport and you are a short walk from both the Vatican and Piazza Navona. From there the rest of Rome is within an hour or so walk with many points of interest along the way. Very close to food and grocery stores and the San Pietro train station. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great stay, very attentive host

Anthony was extremely helpful and responsive! He left us breakfast items and wine, which was so kind. Ask him for restaurant recommendations- he knows great places. The apartment itself was in a great location, very walkable to the Vatican, and was a great place to stay. Definitely recommend!!

Location, location, location!!

This is really a 4 minute walk to the San Petro station and 10 minute walk to the Vatican. It is a lovely apartment with everything you’ll ever need ( except for a kettle). It is tucked in out of all the commotion and very quiet. Beds are comfortable and has two well appointed bathrooms. The owner even goes as far as providing charging cables and Wifi is excellent. Was pleasantly surprised by a stocked fridge and snacks. Due to the passing of the pope it was crazy busy during our stay but we could get away from that and relax out on deck. Excellent restaurants and groceries just around the corner.

Great location

We enjoyed our time there, it's a great location and many amenities. The refrigerator was completely full of food in every category. I highly recommend it. The only problems were that there was no air conditioning or heat, which obviously should have been in the description, that the manager said was because of the Ukrainian war which has been going on for over a year. Also the property address in the confirmation and final email was wrong, causing us to take a taxi from the airport causing us to get another taxi to the corrected address from the owner in an email.

Thank you for your review Mark. I am sorry that the most beautiful time in Italy (spring with average 22 degrees celsius / 72 degrees fahrenheit) have caused you inconvenience. In the house of course there is both air conditioning and heating but, as I wrote to you also sending you the municipal ordinance, during the period of about 15 days in early April the municipality of Rome prevents the switching on of heaters and air conditioning since the war in Ukraine broke out. This is to avoid energy waste. Normally in this period nobody feels the need also because it is a really limited period but I am sorry we happened to have you who needed air conditioning and heating at the same time. Regarding the address indeed there was an error but of 100 meters / about 300 feet. It seems strange to me that you had to take a cab to travel this distance. I am sorry
