From the windows you can admire the ruins of the Forum of Augustus and Trajan's Market, home of the Knights of Rhodes and the beautiful square where the famous palace of the Marchese del Grillo (see movie).
The Coliseum, Palatine Hill, St. Peter in Chains, Piazza Venezia and the Vittoriano, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the Capitol, the Ara Coeli, Teatro Marcello, the Mouth of Truth, Circus Maximus, Terme di Caracalla, the Tiber Island and the Quirinal and the beautiful Trevi Fountain are reachable with a pleasant walk (10 "real" minutes!).The house, tastefully renovated and equipped with every comfort and can accommodate families and small groups of friends up to six people.

Excellent Location

We had an amazing stay at this excellent location. Accommodations were spacious and clean, just as appeared in the photos. Great air-conditioning, which was important on the HOT days! Amazing location - we were able to walk everywhere!

Great place!

We felt really well located, we wanted something a little quieter as we were traveling with my mom and daughter. Very close walk to the colosseum! Everything was super nice and he was a fabulous host.

Rome stay in the middle of the city.

The apartment was comfortable and conveniently located in Rome. We were able to walk to many sights and nearby restaurants. Our host was helpful and easy to contact. I would recommend this property to all.

Perfect location

The apartment was as advertised, location extremely central and everything is walking distance. Perfect size for 2 adults and 2 teens. Also arranged our airport transfers which made everything easy!

Amazing host. Location is perfect.

Our hosts were amazing and was always available if we had any questions. The apartment was clean and walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets and many tourist attractions. I would definitely stay here again if I am in Rome. This place is worth 5 stars. Wish I could give it more!

Great Stay!!

We had a great stay at Carmen’s place in Rome. There was a clear line of communication between her and us. Everything was as it was described in the post and we truly enjoyed ourselves. We’ll stay here again. Highly recommended.

Great location and helpful hosts

My family and I stayed here while visiting Rome. My mom can’t climb stairs well, so we were relieved for the elevator! The hosts were so helpful and quick with any question we had about the property or Rome. Just steps outside the door were archeological sites, monuments, and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family!

Location, location.... Short walk to colosseum. Santino was great to work with, did everything to work with our schedule.We landed at FCO early morning, train to Rome was easy. Got there early, was able to drop our bags so we could get in our way. Took Uber to Vatican, just about everything else is walkable.

Italy trip

Great place to stay for trip to Italy. Apartment had all the amenities we were looking for. We had 2 adult couples with plenty of room for everyone. Location is Wonderful!! Very close to Colluseum, Trevi fountain and Pantheon. The restaurants and shopping was Extremely close. Food and drinks were very good. Everyone was very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay in Rome!

Santino was an exceptional host!! He was so helpful leading up to the trip, met us there giving thorough instructions, and great communicator for our 3 day stay. The apartment is fully stocked with everything you will need and more! The location is perfect for walking most places and/ or navigating taxis is easy and take about 10 minutes. There are great restaurants all around you just walk and stop - great food everywhere! I would highly recommend Santino’s apartment to anyone!!

Rome getaway

What an amazing little place! The location of this rental was perfect for our needs. It also gave us the perfect place to lay our heads at the end of a long day of walking. I would absolutely stay here again. It was myself and my two (young) adult kids. It was a perfect set up for our needs. Santino and his wife were easily reached and the sweetest people. They have a binder set up to give you great local information and to add to an already full itinerary. Thank you for sharing your home!

Wonderful Home-Great Location

We had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful apartment for 5 nights. 1. The hosts are definitely Super Hosts. So kind & responsive. 2. Extremely clean & anything we thought we needed was already furnished. 3. The beds were comfortable & there's a lift. 4. The location can't be beat. 5. The neighborhood restaurants are great. Thank you Santino for sharing your lovely apartment. We came to Rome early before a cruise. The apartment is perfectly situated and close to many of the historical sites of Rome and many restaurants. We were able to walk to most historical sites. Santino is very responsive and arranged our pick-up from the airport and our transfer to the port. Thank you for making our visit to Rome perfect!

Good central spot with the basics you need

The apartment was in good condition. We particularly appreciated the AC, as we were there during a heat wave. The location is very central and within walking distance of the colosseum. The buses in the area tend to be packed, though, so not the easiest place for going elsewhere. Lights of cars going by at night are pretty persistent and not blocked by the shutters. Kitchen was small with no eating area to speak of, so plan to eat out mostly. We wouldn't stay here again, but that's primarily due to the location. The apartment was fine.

Amazing Apartment

Stayed here a few days. Santino and Carmela were amazing. Allowed us to drop our luggage early so we didn’t have to cart them all over. The apartment is in an amazing location. We walked to everything. The coliseum and Trevi Fountain are literally a 10 minute walk. Shops and amazing restaurants are all right there. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again when in Rome.

Excellent Location great Little Apartment

The Apartment had everything you needed. Great Air Conditioning with Rome being so hot. Fabulous location 10 Mins to Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. Lots of Restaurants and Pizzerias close by.

Heart of Monti

Clean and comfortable apartment in the heart of ancient and historic Monti. Walk to the Colosseum in less than 10. Plenty of other landmarks within walking distance. Nice neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, a local market and Flor which has the best gelato around.
