Great location by the Forum and Colliseum, with train station and B-line nearby, as well as numerous shops and restaurants. Clean, well-appointed apartment with helpful staff and comfortable bed. Two windows in the living room provide the only natural light.

This historic gem is located in old Rome and within walking distance to all the landmarks and surrounded by incredible cuisine for every taste. Make your reservations early for the restaurants so not to be disappointed. The apartment itself is just wonderful. Incredibly clean, comfortable and cozy. Highly recommend staying here as Clara, Alice and her contacts are attentive and kind.

Amazing Experience

Thr lication of this apartment is perfect, so close to places to eat and shop. The Roman Forum is literally steps away. Clara was so easy to work with and even arranged for transport from the airport to the apartment for a nominal fee. I would highly recommend this apartment.

The apartment was nicely updated, decorated, and in an excellent location. Clara was exceptionally responsive and everything worked smoothly. The only negative was the ceiling is a little low in spots and I had to duck under some beams I’m fairly tall though at 6’1” so for most it won’t be a problem. An excellent stay and highly recommended.

Fantastic location, great space. We were greeted by a lovely lady, even though we did not arrive until late in the evening, she took us through the apartment. So close we walked around the Roman Forum and the Colosseum that night. Great restaurants and coffee close by and it was not too far to get to the express airport train when leaving.

This apartment was great! It is cozy, in a great location within walking distance of the train station and most tourist locations. The host is nice and responsive. We would stay here again anytime.

Medieval Flat in the perfect neighborhood at the city center

The Perfect Place

This was the perfect place from the initial booking throughout our stay. Clara was extremely easy to communicate with in scheduling transportation from and to the airport and providing a concierge to help us schedule activities during our visit. The apartment was amazing and in a great area of the city with many of the attractions, restaurants and bars. If you are on the fence pull the trigger you won’t be disappointed. When we return we will definitely stay here.

We loved this authentic Roman apartment! It was ideal for walking to all the key tourists spots and fantasic restaurants literally outside your door. The apartment was clean and comfortable and so unique. Loved the history of the building.

Location! Location! Location! And low ceilings

This apartment was spectacular. The location was amazing. The apartment is great. It has everything you need and is comfortable. The ceilings were low but they are up front about it. I’m about 6’2” and there were a number of places where I had to be aware of I would hit my head. Having said that if I returned to Rome, I would stay here. Loved it.

Perfect location!

Clara and family are excellent hosts and their property is in an amazing location and is super charming. Being only steps from the Roman Forum and a 5 minute walk to the Colloseum, we could not have asked for a better location. The street has many good restaurants and bars that are within very short walking distance. The property itself has everything you need for a quiet and comfortable stay. Taller individuals, such as myself (6ft. tall and over) should be mindful that the support beams in the apartment are very low. Some vigilance and awareness is needed, but I am happy to report that no head injuries were incurred on the trip! Highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed!

The location is great. Just a short walk to all the Rome attractions. However, during our stay we did notice that cleanliness was not so great as others mention. Not sure if we were simply unlucky. Ceilings are low and there is almost no light, so it makes it seem way darker than in the pictures. The apartment feels like someone lives there regularly and just stepped away for the weekend so you could move in. Unfortunately, this means the bathroom is not cleaned as one would expect. In the bathroom almost all metal fixtures were rusted, visible stains and dirt in all the bathroom walls, and only 1 paper roll for our stay. We communicated with the owners and they agreed to bring more paper the next day, but we simply walked to one of the stores nearby and bought it ourselves to avoid having to schedule being in the apartment at a specific time. Also it is not shown on the listing, but the only window in the bedroom leads to a flight of stairs in a commercial/residential building. The first two nights we could barely sleep because of the constant noise of people walking up and down the stairs right next to our bed. This was our first time in Rome and we enjoyed being outside exploring, but didn’t feel equally comfortable when it was time to return to the apartment to rest. We would likely not return to this apartment, since there were other properties including hotels just a few steps away that cost the same or even better prices. Pros: Location Cons: Cleanliness Noise

Pictures are very different from what you see in person. Low ceilings and dirty.

I have stayed at a few vrbos over the years. None of which have been a problem. I am not someone who expects a lot in these places. I do expect certain standards met. A basic standard clean was NOT met. We didn't realize our issue till the 2nd day. A musty/moldy smell was in the bedroom. AC had black mold inside. Living room AC did not appear cleaned. Top of kitchen cabinets were not clean. Shower walls yellow stains. Shower trim was filthy. Both bottom corners had black mold. Bathroom faucet leaked a bit when in use. For reference my brother is 6ft and I'm 5 '11. Not tall enough where we need to duck through doorways on a daily basis. This apartment was a different story. The living room a person 6-6 '2 could stand up in no problem. The doorway into the apartment we had to duck a good 8-12 inches. The whole walk through the kitchen you have to duck about 5 inches. Walking through the bathroom and bedroom doorway you have the duck about 5 inches. The extra pillows provided not clean and multiple stains. Rug in the bedroom was filthy. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone. We had an overdue balance of an extra night due on april 30th before the trip. I didn't pay prior to contacting the manager with AC mold issue. I told her, I think that we shouldn't have to pay the extra night bec of the mold. She called me “deceitful” for not paying the balance before the stay. I paid it so this review can be creditable. A free extra night would be the least they can do.
